"I stayed here for rehab after my hip replacement three years' ago. I was treated so well that when my mother needed an intermediate care facility after a major surgery that required more intensive care than I, I didn't want her to go anywhere else. She has been there for three weeks now, and neither of us could be more pleased with the care she is receiving. "

"The Staff is ALWAYS willing to listen to you cares and concerns. They act on them and take the time to get to know your family member. They pay attention to how my mother is doing and order tests to make sure they are doing well...they take calls and give needed information to help insure things are going well. The rooms are a bit small but the place is very clean. They do the laundry and make sure clothes are cleaned and marked with my mother's name. One of the staff knew my mother loved chowder and clam cakes and very kindly brought it back to my mother as a surprise...it made her day."

"My brother is a current resident is short term care. He is very happy with the CNAs, Nurses and all the staff. He told me he feels safe here. He is on the Autism Spectrum and they take special notice of that. He's been in rehab at 2 other rehab/nursing homes and hated one tolerated the other. I'm so happy he is getting such good care. Thank you to the staff."

"My sister is at a nursing facility at Kent Regency Center. She's doing long-term there right now, and she seems to feel comfortable there. She needs some care to be able to take her medications regularly. She is not in the best physical shape, but she is capable of participating in activities and things like that, so she felt comfortable there because of the location, and it is easy access to visit. The care has been very good. The communication has been good, and as long as that continues, we're OK to stay then. The place is clean. The food is basically good. My sister doesn't complain too much, and when she does complain, they're very attentive to the complaints. I just think they're understaffed, and sometimes it can be a little bit trying because they can't maybe get showers as often as they would like to. But that happens everywhere in the medical field right now - the understaffing. All the people that work there have been very nice and very pleasant. No real issues with people. She seems to eat all her meals, but sometimes it's cold or something like that. They do have activities. They have games, bingo, and they have like somebody come around to paint their fingernails. They let them make beads and stuff like that, and she likes to participate. The upkeep is good. The rooms are small. I think the rooms could be bigger because they have roommates, so it is kind of small, but it is pretty much kept up very nice."

"We are residents of Summer Villa. It has a yard. During the summer, they plant vegetables there. It has a driveway, and they put tables, chairs, and umbrellas for the summer. You can go there and eat on Thursdays for lunch, usually. As far as the upkeep, I upkeep my own room because I don't want anyone in my room, but there is a woman, her name's Maria, she does the cleaning, and she works really hard. There's a medtech and a nurse during the day. Then at night, there's medtech for the next two shifts. Everyone seems okay. They take us to Walmart twice a month. They also take people to other places, like bowling, the pool, and the beach. Every week, we play bingo, we do arts and crafts, and then there are other games that they do, like trivia. They have a musician come in once a month, and she is very good. They were having a gentleman for yoga, but I don't know if he's still coming. So, we're pretty well taken care of. They find things to do, but people don't want to do them. The food is ok. Sometimes it comes out burnt, and sometimes it comes out raw or cold. They have a microwave that you can use to warm it up. If you don't care for what they're serving, you have to go talk to the chef, and he has alternatives. They have ice cream every Saturday night. There is dessert or snack time at 7 pm every night. I don't know what they cost, but they take our disability checks. Medicare covers whatever. I guess it's worth it."

"I highly recommend South Kingstown Nursing Rehabilitation Center. I think the staff has a good understanding of memory issues, and the facility itself is very nice. It's very up-to- date and clean. I have no complaints. The activity director is wonderful. She's very involved in all the patient's activities like what they do during the day and it's ongoing throughout the day. The CNAs give good personal care and they tried throughout the day to keep the patients with memory problems engaged. My husband is in a shared room. The staff is good. He has severe dementia but they can communicate with him. The food is excellent."

"The rooms are large, and cleaned everyday. I requested a recliner, and since my roommate left after a couple of days, I was given the recliner she was using. Telephone service is subpar, ended up using my cellphone. Food was excellent, and kitchen staff accommodated my special requests. Coffee was requested for 2 cups for every meal, which was done. I fractured a couple of bones in my left foot in a fall at home, had trouble walking, ended up in boot. While at Greenwood, they discovered a DVT in other leg that apparently happened when I initially fell at home. There was staff there who were exceptional, caring for me at all hours, changing me, as I am incontinent. They had activities which were nicely done and organized by staff. I was able to leave within the 20 days which Blue Cross pays for. If I needed rehab care in the future, I would gladly return to Greenwood!"

"My father is in a nursing home in the dementia unit. He is in Coventry Center. The facility is probably more than he needs, but there aren’t a whole lot of options because he’s got to be on Medicaid and he needs to be in a locked unit because he forgets where he is. Nevertheless, they’re very good. The staff is very attentive to everything he needs. My father is cared for, he is secure, he is safe, and he seems to be happy there. They have really taken good care of him. He has gotten the best care and the most attention there of all the facilities he has been in since June. "

"My brother went to Sunny View Nursing Home for rehab, they were very nice and very compassionate. It's an older facility but it's very, very clean and very homey. They had arts and crafts, and they had games. They had a chapel, and the rooms were kind of small, but they were adequate."

"My father-in-law stayed in Elderwood Of Scallop Shell At Wakefield. I thought that place was great. The care was fine. He didn't like the food, but he didn't like anybody's food. The staffers were good, and they had a sense of humor. They updated us as to everything that was going on. It was well kept, it was very clean, and it was organized. They had a good amount of staff. They weren't understaffed. They were very attentive and when you ask them a question, they give you the answer. They listen to my father-in-law, and they take care of them. Parking was great. It was very clean, and it was bright. They had a conference room, and they had outside accommodations so people could sit outside if they wanted to. It was good. They had a check-in staff. Nobody could get by the front desk. They screened everybody, and everybody had to be masked."

"My mother stayed here for four weeks following a fall and fractured ribs. The staff were very caring and friendly. PS She's been at home for 10 months since, and has repeated UTIs despite having CNAs for several hours a day daily. It's something hard to avoid for seniors wearing adult diapers 24/7, even with frequent changes. "

"Mom was treated good but staff is controlled by mean and rude director woman on staff in 2025 without saying name. She has no respect for your time, and doesn't even respond to your questions or calls. She makes people feel very uncomfortable mostly family members, trying to help their loved one, and managed to get my mom very upset upon leaving."

"St. Clare Home was nice. They just didn't have any space available. It was very clean, and the people were very friendly. They had a chapel. The staff during the tour was nice, helpful, and honest. The residents were playing a game on the Wii machine when I was there."
