"St. Clare Home was nice. They just didn't have any space available. It was very clean, and the people were very friendly. They had a chapel. The staff during the tour was nice, helpful, and honest. The residents were playing a game on the Wii machine when I was there."

"My dad is happy with Village House staff, so they must be doing well. They're very helpful. The rooms are very nice. It overlooks a pond. My dad knows some of the people there. If he knows someone there, then that makes me feel more comfortable. They order food out, and they have party luaus. There's a bunch of people who work there who I went to school with. "

"This is a great facility. Everything is clean, staff is great. This is the second rehab my father has been in, in the past few months and after our first experience I was a little leery but was pleasantly surprised. Exceeded my expectations, I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for a loved one. "

"I stayed here for rehab after my hip replacement three years' ago. I was treated so well that when my mother needed an intermediate care facility after a major surgery that required more intensive care than I, I didn't want her to go anywhere else. She has been there for three weeks now, and neither of us could be more pleased with the care she is receiving. "

"I went to the Medicare website, and they rated some of the nursing homes in the area as average, above average, and beyond average based on the care and the facility itself, the cleanliness, and the amount of issues they have had, and Silver Creek Manor was rated very high. There were two in Bristol that were rated very high and -- unfortunately -- the other one did not have any openings, but this one did. I am very happy with where my mom is; they are very nice. The staff is great; they are like family. They are so nice, sweet, they take you under their wings as if you are all part of the family, and they are very accommodating. My mom is a very picky eater, but they are doing their best to try to help her and maintain her weight because she has lost a lot of weight. They are doing the best they can with asking her what she wants, making sure she is getting what she wants so that she will eat, they encourage her to eat more, and she has put on some weight lately within the last few weeks. So they are helping in that respect too because they pay attention to it. There are two people in the room, but they both have a bed and a chair and they share a closet, but the closet is a good size as well, and there hasn't been any issue with that. They do Bingo every day, and they have some kind of auctions; they do a lot of activities and stuff -- most of them I found in other places -- so they are very good with that too. They get her up every day to make sure in the afternoon that she does some type of activity. They even have rosaries prayers for the Catholic people who would like to go to that. They have entertainment that comes in and a sing-along or things like that, which is very nice. My mother has been in three different nursing homes just this year alone, and this one outweighs the other two by far. This is the reason why we made a decision to have it long term because they are doing such a great job with her. She has not been sick since she has been in this facility. For some reasons, these people have been able to keep her well, which is amazing. It is nice too because they have enough staff that if you have any need, they are there to help you. "

"Roberts Health Center is a smaller facility, so there was a lot of individualized care. It was more home-like and not as institution-like. The people seemed very responsive, the place was clean, and everything seemed quite appropriate there. "

"We've decided to keep my mom where she is at the time being, which is the Elderwood Of Scallop Shell, not really looking around all that much at this point. The ones that I talked to were basically closed down at this point. You could go online at the website and talk to people on there, but that's kind of difficult. That kind of played into my decision to keep my mom where she is. She ended up there when she initially went in for rehab after her broken hip. I have not been in the building, I just looked at it online like most of the others. I just talk to people and they get back to me. It seems good, but I don't have a lot to judge on. The staff is accommodating and friendly. My mom is forgetting a lot so she needs someone to keep an eye on her. The location is very nice, it's not on a busy street, and it's tucked away. I don't know what the layout is. She went directly from the hospital over there so I have not seen the inside. They're close to relatives down there and that's kind of the determining factor for us and also recommendations from her assisted-living facility. It's not a gigantic nursing home or a rehab center like some of them are so it's a little cozier. They have private rooms which I'm planning to get for my mom. They've got a library. My mother goes down there pretty much every day. Obviously it's a rehab center so I guess they do things with the residents to kind of keep them busy because they can't have visitors. I find them very friendly and easy to work with. They set up a couple of Zoom visits with my mom and it was so nice."

"I chose The Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Healthcare for my mom because she has always lived in Bristol, Rhode Island, and her whole family is there. She had other sisters who were there before, so it's something that we knew was a good facility and a good fit since her family would be able to visit her often. The facility is very clean, and from the first day that I went in there with some paperwork, they were doing a lot of renovation and painting. All the rooms are painted, and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff was very helpful. They're always willing to answer any questions you have. If they don't know the answer, they will bring it to the right person who does. As for the care they give my mom, she's always treated very respectfully and kindly, so that's a big plus. They're very careful to keep Mom's diet proper for her. They have activities every day, and my mom does go to some of them, but not all, because she seems a little tired these days."

"I recently did a private duty at Southpoint, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care and staff at this facility. The nurses and CNA's were wonderful to name a few, Mary, Jill, Annette,Chin RN and many other gave my client wonderful care! I also have to mention the wonderful PT staff namely Muchelle. I highly recommend this facility! "

"Saint Elizabeth Home was on the cutting edge of nursing care to make the place feel more like home. There was a full working regular home-style kitchen in the center. If they're doing well enough, they can cook for themselves and get coffee any time of the day. They have their own food in their refrigerator, their own room, and own bathroom. It didn’t have the heavy-handedness of a nursing care, and it didn’t have a central nursing desk. It very much did not look like a hospital. Each room had the contraptions installed along the ceiling that can help lift people who can't get in and out of wheelchairs themselves, and there were call buttons everywhere. There were two CNAs for each house and one or two nursing staff for all five houses. It was a full-service nursing care but felt much more like a home, and it was very new."

"Mom was at Warren Center for about a month. They were very cooperative with her and very caring. I was actually quite impressed. The food was good; I ate with her several times. The rooms were clean, the clothing that she got to wear was clean, and they listen to her if she had questions. They did everything they could to make her comfortable. The facility was quite nice. They have a very large communal dining room. They had bingo, and appreciation of music, and movies. They had quite a bit of therapy room. The patients were nice to each other. "

"The Staff is ALWAYS willing to listen to you cares and concerns. They act on them and take the time to get to know your family member. They pay attention to how my mother is doing and order tests to make sure they are doing well...they take calls and give needed information to help insure things are going well. The rooms are a bit small but the place is very clean. They do the laundry and make sure clothes are cleaned and marked with my mother's name. One of the staff knew my mother loved chowder and clam cakes and very kindly brought it back to my mother as a surprise...it made her day."

"I highly recommend South Kingstown Nursing Rehabilitation Center. I think the staff has a good understanding of memory issues, and the facility itself is very nice. It's very up-to- date and clean. I have no complaints. The activity director is wonderful. She's very involved in all the patient's activities like what they do during the day and it's ongoing throughout the day. The CNAs give good personal care and they tried throughout the day to keep the patients with memory problems engaged. My husband is in a shared room. The staff is good. He has severe dementia but they can communicate with him. The food is excellent."

"This nursing facility is one of the finest in the area. My aunt was recently living here for a short amount of time and she could hardly contain how much she loved it there. She was always chatting it up with the nursing assistants who were always prompt, and friendly. She loved the on site activities including bingo and her favorite the exercise group. My aunt even knew some of the other residents in the facility and would always go visit with them. She really loved this facility, and that made me feel comfortable. The staff was always friendly and polite, and the Nurses seemed very attentive to the residents. Recently my aunt was released but she continues to go back to visit her friends that still reside in Grace Barker Nursing Home. "
