The staff was very welcoming, friendly, caring, accessible and attentive to my medical needs. They were in constant communication with my family; providing updates on my care, milestones and goals. The physical and occupational therapists were skilled, engaging and extremely encouraging which helped me stay motivated and on track. The facility was immaculate, the food was good and the environment was very pleasant. The Administrator was always visible in the hallways, engaging with the residence and staff. The experience was much nicer than I could have ever imagined. It truly takes a village! God bless and thank you all again!

My mother was at Grace Barker for about two to three weeks. She was in the rehab unit, so she was getting full services at that time. We were satisfied. They provided everything she needed. They also had an assisted living facility, which was a separate building right next door. They basically had all levels of care available. The people were very nice. They were very forthcoming, very friendly, and ready and anxious to provide whatever support was needed. They offered activities, but my mother at that time was somewhat restricted. She was in there for rehab after having a pacemaker put in, so she was not that involved with the activities while she was there. Grace Barker was very nice overall. It seemed to be well maintained, no issues with odors or anything of that sort.

The facility is very clean; decorations and colors are changed every three months. My grandmother seems very happy with both the staff and amenities. The food seems to be of a pretty good quality and dishes are changed enough that she doesn't notice much repetition. I have not had any personal contact with the staff, but any issues that have arisen with her care or comfort appear to be addressed promptly. The roommate whom was assigned to her is nice. I haven't had any negative experience with this facility, which is all we can really ask for with her care.

This nursing facility is one of the finest in the area. My aunt was recently living here for a short amount of time and she could hardly contain how much she loved it there. She was always chatting it up with the nursing assistants who were always prompt, and friendly. She loved the on site activities including bingo and her favorite the exercise group. My aunt even knew some of the other residents in the facility and would always go visit with them. She really loved this facility, and that made me feel comfortable. The staff was always friendly and polite, and the Nurses seemed very attentive to the residents. Recently my aunt was released but she continues to go back to visit her friends that still reside in Grace Barker Nursing Home.
