"My Mom has been at Kimwell for over 3 years and the care has been outstanding. Quality care givers work there. People who realize that their work is a calling not a job. My wife and I looked and toured many places before deciding on Kimwell. We never looked at the fancy chandeliers at many places but took the time to talk to many of the staff. Without a doubt, Kimwell came in first and we are extremely happy and secure in our choice. "

"Rooms are clean. Staff is caring and considerate. Rehab deserves 5 stare (Reliant) they kept me going after breaking my hip and due to their caring, I am leaving a week early. I would definitely come here again if I had to. I would give 5 stars, but the food is horrible. That would be my only complaint."

"My aunt moved into Crestwood Nursing & Rehabilitation. She's doing some rehab, and she's got oxygen. She has trouble getting to the bathroom, so they have to help with that. The staff members have been very nice so far. The facility is clean. It's a bit older, but I have no complaints about the way it's kept. My aunt is happy with the food. Her room is fairly small, but she doesn't need a lot of room. We brought a whole bunch of stuff from her house, so she's happy about that."

"This nursing facility is one of the finest in the area. My aunt was recently living here for a short amount of time and she could hardly contain how much she loved it there. She was always chatting it up with the nursing assistants who were always prompt, and friendly. She loved the on site activities including bingo and her favorite the exercise group. My aunt even knew some of the other residents in the facility and would always go visit with them. She really loved this facility, and that made me feel comfortable. The staff was always friendly and polite, and the Nurses seemed very attentive to the residents. Recently my aunt was released but she continues to go back to visit her friends that still reside in Grace Barker Nursing Home. "

"My mother is a resident of Country Gardens Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. It stinks. The smells there are overwhelming. Some staff members are wonderful, and others are not. It wouldn't be fair of me to say that they're all terrible, but one problem that they have is that the residents are not being supervised. Sometimes they go completely unsupervised for prolonged periods of time."

"Mom was at Warren Center for about a month. They were very cooperative with her and very caring. I was actually quite impressed. The food was good; I ate with her several times. The rooms were clean, the clothing that she got to wear was clean, and they listen to her if she had questions. They did everything they could to make her comfortable. The facility was quite nice. They have a very large communal dining room. They had bingo, and appreciation of music, and movies. They had quite a bit of therapy room. The patients were nice to each other. "

"I chose The Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Healthcare for my mom because she has always lived in Bristol, Rhode Island, and her whole family is there. She had other sisters who were there before, so it's something that we knew was a good facility and a good fit since her family would be able to visit her often. The facility is very clean, and from the first day that I went in there with some paperwork, they were doing a lot of renovation and painting. All the rooms are painted, and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff was very helpful. They're always willing to answer any questions you have. If they don't know the answer, they will bring it to the right person who does. As for the care they give my mom, she's always treated very respectfully and kindly, so that's a big plus. They're very careful to keep Mom's diet proper for her. They have activities every day, and my mom does go to some of them, but not all, because she seems a little tired these days."

"I went to the Medicare website, and they rated some of the nursing homes in the area as average, above average, and beyond average based on the care and the facility itself, the cleanliness, and the amount of issues they have had, and Silver Creek Manor was rated very high. There were two in Bristol that were rated very high and -- unfortunately -- the other one did not have any openings, but this one did. I am very happy with where my mom is; they are very nice. The staff is great; they are like family. They are so nice, sweet, they take you under their wings as if you are all part of the family, and they are very accommodating. My mom is a very picky eater, but they are doing their best to try to help her and maintain her weight because she has lost a lot of weight. They are doing the best they can with asking her what she wants, making sure she is getting what she wants so that she will eat, they encourage her to eat more, and she has put on some weight lately within the last few weeks. So they are helping in that respect too because they pay attention to it. There are two people in the room, but they both have a bed and a chair and they share a closet, but the closet is a good size as well, and there hasn't been any issue with that. They do Bingo every day, and they have some kind of auctions; they do a lot of activities and stuff -- most of them I found in other places -- so they are very good with that too. They get her up every day to make sure in the afternoon that she does some type of activity. They even have rosaries prayers for the Catholic people who would like to go to that. They have entertainment that comes in and a sing-along or things like that, which is very nice. My mother has been in three different nursing homes just this year alone, and this one outweighs the other two by far. This is the reason why we made a decision to have it long term because they are doing such a great job with her. She has not been sick since she has been in this facility. For some reasons, these people have been able to keep her well, which is amazing. It is nice too because they have enough staff that if you have any need, they are there to help you. "

"A small and cozy home complete with a deck and natural wildlife! Residents get "spoiled" as we know each one personally including ,the likes and dislikes, hobbies, friends and family of every person who lives here. Special food items are made on a daily basis for anyone who asks and even some who do not as we know them all so well. Plenty of activities abound, including cookouts, parties , and social get togethers. Lot's of hugs for our residents from caring staff here and the country setting is beautiful "

"First and foremost, I would like to thank Stephanie for everything ,without her I would not have had the opportunity to become a resident and have the rehab that I more than needed with the limited time the insurance company would pay for .They worked miracles. My therapist now at home are amazed at the progress I made .My CNA’s and nurses went over and above, also other staff that filled in from other parts of the building as well .There are not words enough to express my appreciation. "My mother is happy at The Oaks. They got everything. They got barbecues outside and they have game rooms and TV rooms. She loves to eat. She loves her food. She's gained ten pounds since she's been at the Oaks. Her room is very clean. They call me once or twice a week to tell me whatever is going on and if everything's OK. She doesn't do much of the activities, but they have anything that they want to do. The facility is very nice. The staff is wonderful. They do everything that they can to make them comfortable. They're very good. I have no complaints with any of them. They have conference rooms and private rooms. For people that want to come visit their family and they want a private room, they have that. They have a room where they just go in and sit and they have pastries, coffee, and donuts in the morning. They have another room with all kinds of activities, games, puzzles, and TV, and every room has their own nurse that watches all the people that go in each room. They're very good. It's a very successful place."
