I chose The Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Healthcare for my mom because she has always lived in Bristol, Rhode Island, and her whole family is there. She had other sisters who were there before, so it's something that we knew was a good facility and a good fit since her family would be able to visit her often. The facility is very clean, and from the first day that I went in there with some paperwork, they were doing a lot of renovation and painting. All the rooms are painted, and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff was very helpful. They're always willing to answer any questions you have. If they don't know the answer, they will bring it to the right person who does. As for the care they give my mom, she's always treated very respectfully and kindly, so that's a big plus. They're very careful to keep Mom's diet proper for her. They have activities every day, and my mom does go to some of them, but not all, because she seems a little tired these days.
