"My loved one was at Grand Islander for the past few months. Covid has been very tough on all yet I still receive updates from Nurses, Social Workers and Therapists. All staff have gone above and beyond helping us out. Long term care is not easy to navigate but Grand Islander has helped in all aspects from nursing needs to financial and insurance information. I would highly recommend this as a temporary placement or long term. Thank you to all Grand Islander staff!! Job well done!! "

"My friend stayed at Forest Farm and the care was excellent. He had a large private room. Tracy from Therapy was great and very knowledgeable.. I had a guest tray and the food was better then I would have expected. I would recommend going there. "

"I visited daily to Scallop Shell when my grandmother was a rehab patient after knee replacement surgery. All I can say is that the place is beautiful and the staff are top notch. The facility has a 5 star government rating meaning they scored above average with quality measures, staffing, and health inspections (which at last survey was apparently deficiency free). Many may not be aware of this but it was important to my family to do some research prior to deciding on a place for gram's rehab. We wanted to be sure therapy was available to her 7 days a week which Scallop Shell offers. And the best part is, all the staff are Scallop Shell employees. We couldn't have been happier with her care and the progress she made thanks to the folks at Scallop Shell. "

"My mother has been admitted to this facility for rehab, after being there for just a week she seems to be getting a bit stronger every day. Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy have been done in the privacy of her room due to the current restrictions. She is also enjoying the the menu choices they have to offer. The staff have been wonderful to her and are very compassionate. The admission director was so very helpful with the entire process, he worked with her doctors office to get all the documents needed and the entire process took only a few days. He returns calls promptly and answers all questions and concerns without hesitation. "

"My husband had his rehab at Roberts Health Center. They were very good. Their nurses, CNAs, and therapist were very good to my husband. The room was sufficient. I would definitely recommend them to others. They had people that came in and talked to you about the services there. They asked you for any suggestions or any problem that you had. They were just very good. They were very helpful. The food was very good. My husband was very pleased with it. "

"Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini is a beautiful community. It's very clean. There are wild animals like deer that roam around and turkeys. It is very peaceful and very nice. My mother is in a double room, so it's for two people, and it's pretty big. There's a chance for privacy, and the bathroom is nice. The nursing staff and the CNAs that take care of my mom are very, very good, caring people. They have a mass that anyone can go to, they have a priest that comes around, they have bingo, they have a hairdresser and a hair salon. She eats in her room, and the food is OK."

"I highly recommend South Kingstown Nursing Rehabilitation Center. I think the staff has a good understanding of memory issues, and the facility itself is very nice. It's very up-to- date and clean. I have no complaints. The activity director is wonderful. She's very involved in all the patient's activities like what they do during the day and it's ongoing throughout the day. The CNAs give good personal care and they tried throughout the day to keep the patients with memory problems engaged. My husband is in a shared room. The staff is good. He has severe dementia but they can communicate with him. The food is excellent."

"Saint Elizabeth Home was on the cutting edge of nursing care to make the place feel more like home. There was a full working regular home-style kitchen in the center. If they're doing well enough, they can cook for themselves and get coffee any time of the day. They have their own food in their refrigerator, their own room, and own bathroom. It didn’t have the heavy-handedness of a nursing care, and it didn’t have a central nursing desk. It very much did not look like a hospital. Each room had the contraptions installed along the ceiling that can help lift people who can't get in and out of wheelchairs themselves, and there were call buttons everywhere. There were two CNAs for each house and one or two nursing staff for all five houses. It was a full-service nursing care but felt much more like a home, and it was very new."

"I went to the Medicare website, and they rated some of the nursing homes in the area as average, above average, and beyond average based on the care and the facility itself, the cleanliness, and the amount of issues they have had, and Silver Creek Manor was rated very high. There were two in Bristol that were rated very high and -- unfortunately -- the other one did not have any openings, but this one did. I am very happy with where my mom is; they are very nice. The staff is great; they are like family. They are so nice, sweet, they take you under their wings as if you are all part of the family, and they are very accommodating. My mom is a very picky eater, but they are doing their best to try to help her and maintain her weight because she has lost a lot of weight. They are doing the best they can with asking her what she wants, making sure she is getting what she wants so that she will eat, they encourage her to eat more, and she has put on some weight lately within the last few weeks. So they are helping in that respect too because they pay attention to it. There are two people in the room, but they both have a bed and a chair and they share a closet, but the closet is a good size as well, and there hasn't been any issue with that. They do Bingo every day, and they have some kind of auctions; they do a lot of activities and stuff -- most of them I found in other places -- so they are very good with that too. They get her up every day to make sure in the afternoon that she does some type of activity. They even have rosaries prayers for the Catholic people who would like to go to that. They have entertainment that comes in and a sing-along or things like that, which is very nice. My mother has been in three different nursing homes just this year alone, and this one outweighs the other two by far. This is the reason why we made a decision to have it long term because they are doing such a great job with her. She has not been sick since she has been in this facility. For some reasons, these people have been able to keep her well, which is amazing. It is nice too because they have enough staff that if you have any need, they are there to help you. "

"I chose The Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Healthcare for my mom because she has always lived in Bristol, Rhode Island, and her whole family is there. She had other sisters who were there before, so it's something that we knew was a good facility and a good fit since her family would be able to visit her often. The facility is very clean, and from the first day that I went in there with some paperwork, they were doing a lot of renovation and painting. All the rooms are painted, and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff was very helpful. They're always willing to answer any questions you have. If they don't know the answer, they will bring it to the right person who does. As for the care they give my mom, she's always treated very respectfully and kindly, so that's a big plus. They're very careful to keep Mom's diet proper for her. They have activities every day, and my mom does go to some of them, but not all, because she seems a little tired these days."

"The staff was very welcoming, friendly, caring, accessible and attentive to my medical needs. They were in constant communication with my family; providing updates on my care, milestones and goals. The physical and occupational therapists were skilled, engaging and extremely encouraging which helped me stay motivated and on track. The facility was immaculate, the food was good and the environment was very pleasant. The Administrator was always visible in the hallways, engaging with the residence and staff. The experience was much nicer than I could have ever imagined. It truly takes a village! God bless and thank you all again!"
