"My mom was at the Odd Fellows Home and I would like to thank everyone who took care of her. Everyone was very caring and compassionate. The staff were very informative at her Care Plan meetings. The Rehab Department did a wonderful job getting her to get up and walk. (which is no easy task). The nursing staff always checked in with her to see if she needed anything. The kitchen did a great job with her meals (because she is a picky eater). Thank you from the bottom of my heart. "

"We did get a tour of Holy Trinity Nursing & Rehab. The staff is very helpful, they answered our questions, everyone looked very pleasant, and they all spoke with us, so we were impressed. The rooms were very nice, very bright, and the sun would come in. She would have a dresser, closet space, and a bathroom. One of the other things I like was an outside area. In the summer, they would have live bands come in, so I think that's something my mother would enjoy. We didn't see regular dining room, but we saw one that's kind of a private area where you can go on order off a menu. This is probably our first choice for my mother. "

"My mother is a resident here. As my mother would say "they stand on their heads to please you and would do anything for you". My family has nothing but praise for the Knollwood Nursing Center. This place is immaculate and BEAUTIFUL inside and out. "

"I only have the highest recommendation for this skilled nursing home, Our mother was at another facility the had a great reputation, but it was anything but great for our mother. She ended up with a terrible bed sore, and was not recovering like they said she would. I ran into a woman who works for Autumn Village and I asked her how their rehab program was. After speaking with her, we decided to move our mother ...in what seemed like no time, her wound was healed, and she was up walking and getting the right type of therapy. She is home now, thanks to the caring staff at Autumn Village! "

"My mother has been living in Notre Dame du Lac for around five months now. She is in the memory care unit. I think the place is very clean. It's quiet, and I think they're organized. The girls are good with the residents. They try to keep them busy, so they have arts and crafts. This is what we wanted for her, so she could feel better about spending her day. They're all private, big rooms. She can fit a couch in there. She's got a table and bookcases. There's drawers built into the wall. She's got a big, queen bed that is very roomy. She's very comfortable. They have a dining area, a kitchen, and a TV area. That's where they do the little things. They get off the unit, and they go to church every day. There's a mass everyday. We went in on Sunday, and she was in church. It's a nice big chapel. They have a couple of small courtyards around, shaded from the summer trees and flowers. It is very pretty."

"My 99 year old Dad resided there for 3 months after rehab. He had great care and treatment from the wonderful staff in the Putnam ward. He was attended to in his bathing and was helped in the dining room with feedings. The excellent staff would sing to him, and even speak French with him. When he passed some of the staff came in with a final prayer, kiss and some even wept. I can’t say enough about how wonderful and caring he was treated during this time. Thank you"

They help her with everything that she needs, and she is very comfortable. Sanitation is excellent. The food is very good. The rooms are spacious. She is in a private room. "

"My grandmother moved into Beaumont last February. She's now in the long-term care. They've been very good, and they worked on her for a few months now. The staff is very responsive, professional, caring, and helpful. They have activities, they play Bingo, they do arts and crafts, and they sing."

"My husband has been at Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for two weeks now. It's a typical rehab. He gets decent care during the day and horrible care when the shifts change, and they're short-staffed. The people that work the dayshift are pretty good, but once the 3:00 to 11:00 and the 11:00 to 7:00 come on, it's like they don't care. His room is very nice and clean. It's got a TV in there, but very limited channels. The place has been kind of redone not too long ago, so overall, its appearance is very nice. He doesn't go to the dining area. He eats in his room, and half the time he doesn't eat it. The food is subpar. They could improve on communication. I have to talk to the social worker all the time, and she has to intervene with all the issues. Overall, the staff that cares for the residents needs to be giving them the time that's due to them, not "slam-bam, thank you, ma'am, out of the room." They don't allot the time. They just run in, run out. They don't answer the call buttons. We just addressed this situation this morning with the social worker there. The first couple of days when he was there, he was upset because there were a couple of people that came in to work on him and they were standing over him, speaking in a foreign language at each other and laughing. He said, "How do I know if they're not laughing at me?" That happened a couple of times when people were on their telephones, speaking in a foreign language. We addressed it with the social worker and she said she was going to take care of it because that's against their policy to speak in front of a patient like that. We've had three separate occasions where I've had to address things, but this happens in every single facility he's ever been to. They don't care."

"Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a very nice place and it's clean. I like the staff and it seems to be working out very well. My mother has been here for a couple of weeks now. She has severe dementia, and she can't do anything for herself. There's every level of therapy in there, evaluating her medically and mentally to make sure she gets the absolute best care. Her room is bright and clean. She has a window right near her. Most of the rooms on that floor have a window right near the bed, so they're bright. They have a nice day area with a big television. It's just a nice place. The staff is wonderful, very helpful, and very caring."

"My mother in law is currently a resident here and she is taken wonderful care of. She raves about the food and how nice everyone is, all staff. When I visit she looks well groomed, happy considering her illness. The facility is kept very clean. With the COVID upon us St. Mary's has taken extreme measures to see the the residents are all safe. I would recommend this facility to people. :)"

"My husband moved into the Blaire House of Worcester under the memory care unit. The care they give is excellent. They care about the residents. The place looks a little rough, but it will be updated eventually. They do a great job. They do everything according to the state laws, as they're supposed to. So, I always know what's happening, or if they need something, they'll call me. They're good at communicating. They have two choices for each meal. It's not like a focus point, but they ensure people eat. They do crafts, depending on the level of dementia of the person. They always have music. They have religious people come in and do little services, and they have arts and crafts. They have more word searches and trivia stuff, but I don't think many people can do that. They're like old hospital beds. Right now, they have rooms with one to four people, but it will only be one or two people per room when they renovate it. They got a sink in there and lockers for their stuff."

"The Alzheimer's unit at this facility is designed very thoughtfully to create an environment to help ease the anxiety of the residents. The exits are disguised to relieve the feeling of being trapped and the decor is warm and "homey" rather than stark and depressing like a hospital. The unit includes several different rooms that allow for different activities and comfortable environments to sit and visit with residents. There are also private rooms that were available for special occasions or sensitive situations. I specifically enjoyed the outdoor courtyard that was completely enclosed within the unit so residents to could enjoy the fresh air whenever they choose. The staff members are warm, compassionate, patient, and gentle people. I believe they genuinely cared for my grandmother and did everything they could to make her comfortable and relaxed. My family and I were so grateful for all they did during a very difficult and emotional time. "
