"We toured Kennedy Meadows Gracious Retirement Living. It was very nice. They have a library, a theater, and a dining room. It's a very nice place, and the people I talked to and the people managing it were very nice. It was very neat, well taken care of, and managed well. Managers are doing a good job. The staff were very comfortable, welcoming, and very good. The food was good, and if we wanted anything special, they would try to come up with it. So they were accommodating."

"My mom moved into Windsor Place this past weekend. Kudos to the entire staff for a seamless transition. All knew my mom by name and were aware of her needs. The prepararion for a new resident was obvious and much appreciated. My mom already feels comfortable due to the friendliness and helpfulness that surround her. She has already participated in many activities and looks forward to many of the planned outings. For example, a cruise down the Concord River is scheduled for this week. Another appreciation is the open door policy of administration. Dialogue is encouraged and never rushed. Windsor is a great place!"

"Another place we went to was The Residences at Wingate. It is a new place. It was very good. They have all the amenities. We didn't eat there, but it looked like a very nice place. It was a little bit pricey though. The apartments were of good size, and they're all new. They were all in different shapes. All the apartments we saw were good. The dining area was a big area. I guess you would call it formal dining with tablecloths. They have a pub too. It was a very nice-looking place. "

"Heatherwood Gracious Retirement Living was completely elegant. It almost looks like a Castleburn over from England implanted in Tewksbury. Everything was beautiful. My downfall with the Heatherwood is there was only a kitchenette and not enough kitchen space because you eat all your meals downstairs. They have a community kitchen down on another level and you can't bring your own pans or use whatever's in the cabinets. I just like my personal space to cook for my friends or whatever, but everything about it, the property, everything was topnotch. The staff was very good. I haven't tried the food, but I've seen the people eating. We were through the dining room. They have 24-hour coffee, tea, water, infused water, snacks, and desserts that you can get at any time. The place was gorgeous."

"I liked the area of Summer Place and the community spaces. The staff was very knowledgeable. The apartment was nice, not really fantastic, but fine."

"Sophia Snow Place is a very nice place. I had lunch, and the food was excellent. The director showed me around. They served all your meals and had high-quality stuff. The place was immaculate, and everyone was nice. However, I would be isolated because I don’t know anybody there, and I don't drive."

"Brookdale Cushing Park has only two meals daily and assigned dinner seating. It has a $3,250 buy-in and you have 1-bedrooms and cottages. It was nice. I had an appointment, but the person I was supposed to meet was not available, so a young lady took us around, but she didn't have all the answers we had. The staff was good except for not having the real guide available. Other than that, it was fine."

"I spoke with a woman, Katie, here. She was very helpful. I thought the layout was great. It was tidy and a nice area. The common areas and the couple of rooms we looked at were very nice. There was a garden out back, which seemed wonderful. My aunt prefers to spend her time outdoors in a garden area. It was better than the other place we toured. Overall, it was a positive visit. It was between meals when we went, so it was relatively quiet. We saw a bunch of folks who just seemed to be relaxing in the common areas. The dining area was very nice. The pub was also quite nice. The natural lighting was great. The layout was nice, and the place was tidy. The place looked very nice."

"I am a resident of Orchard Cove. I chose the place because of the surroundings, facilities, activities as well as friendly residents and staff. I wanted to be in a place that should my health needs change, I can move to enhanced living or skilled nursing. I have not been disappointed in my decision. Anyone considering a continuing care retirement community should seriously consider Orchard Cove. "

"The Woods at Merrimack was a beautiful place. I'm very happy with it and my mom might end up staying there. I'm impressed with it and everything they offer. They can accommodate people with special diets and they have a wonderful chef. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. They provided an excellent tour experience. All the staff members wore a mask and they had opened just before COVID, so they're pretty brand new and they managed to keep everybody COVID-free."

"Allerton House at Central Park is very well-organized and compact. It's comforting because everything is right there at your fingertips. The location is very good and convenient to everything. Everything looked brand new and was very well set up for a person who would need this type of help, so there weren't any crevices or things that would get in the way. The staff seemed great. The food looked very good."

"We visited Allerton House. It was very nice. It is very easy to get to, and it is very convenient. It is not too far from Boston and not too far from the Hingham area. The shopping center is not too far from this facility, so it is very convenient. We had lunch there, and it was very adequate. There were 15 tables in the dining room, they were all full, and the staff was very efficient. The rooms were very nice. We like the rooms. We saw a two-bedroom room and a one-bedroom room, and they were both very nice. "
