Oakmont Sterling is a beautiful place to live with very nice updated building and beautiful artwork. They have lots of amenities like a rec room, exercise room, church services, a movie theater and they have an excellent restaurant style meals. The dining was exceptional and I loved every bit of it. You could cook some of your meals in your own room or buy from different meal plans you could pick from. The rooms were like apartments but they had other options like a studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom.

My mother was at Oakmont Sterling Enhanced Living, which was a step below assisted living. It was meals and room and board and then you could add on additional care like bathing and helping them get ready. We loved that place, but she needed more individual care. It's very nice, very well maintained, very inviting, and had a beautiful lobby. It's a good first impression. The staff was always wonderful. We never had a problem with them, but they had a little bit of a turnover. A third party came in to do the care part of it that you contract separately if you needed it. They had a lot of residents and it's a larger place, and I don't think that the staff was enough. The facility had no issues. It was beautiful and they've got nice apartments. The food was good, but you're cooking for a lot of residents, so it's a lot more frozen food instead of from scratch. They had arts and crafts, outings, singers come in, and bingo. We liked it, but it was pretty expensive. She was there for about two years.

Oakmont Sterling is wonderful. I love it. I looked at so many places and this was the best place I found. We went to Culver's today for lunch. We go out to a nice place for dinner at least once a month. We have games that we play, like today we had Wheel of Fortune. They have an exercise room that I use every day. The staff is really great and very friendly. I get three dinners a week and they have good food, but they don't have it as healthy as I'd like it to be. Everybody is very good to you. The facility is wonderful. They're always cleaning up.

Oakmont Sterling had a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. Everything was just beautiful and very clean, and everybody was very accommodating. The dining area looked beautiful. The apartments were very nicely laid out.

My mother has been there for eight years. Oakmont Sterling is very nice, and the staff is wonderful. The accommodations are lovely, and I don't have anything bad to say about it. They have organized activities five days a week. They'll take them grocery shopping or to the doctors. They have all kind of things -- whatever they need. They have happy hour and parties. My mother has an apartment with a kitchen.
