My dad had been living in a senior apartment and was not thriving. He needed more one on one attention. We are so lucky to have found Hearthstone. My dad is the happiest he has been in years! My dad is no longer alone, he has friends, he is walking and he trusts that he has help. They keep him engaged and encourage him! They are also keeping an eye on all his medical concerns and he has access to different physicians to visit as well as tele-health. It’s truly a family/home setting. Staff is there to assist my dad with whatever he needs. The guys love watching sports, getting fresh air on the deck and playing cards. Hearthstone was the best decision we made!

If you have a family member requiring continuous care, I highly recommend Hearthstone. My grandmother is now 93 and has had severe dementia the past 5 years. She has been living in the Hearthstone adult foster home for over 2 years and was the first resident in the home. Prior to Hearthstone, she lived at Oakmont assisted living, which was fine for mild dementia, but not when continuous care is required. The assisted living facilities cannot compete with the intimate, respectful care Hearthstone has provided. It’s also great because it truly is a home, a house, vs a large apartment complex or institution. I can tell my grandma feels it’s her home and she’s no longer lost in the halls of an assisted living facility. Meals are home cooked, served in a kitchen, at a kitchen table, not in a large cafeteria with limited food selection. Since Leo and Angie have taken ownership of Hearthstone, the care has become even better because they live there with the residents. They have proactively kept me very informed of issues regarding my grandma and I have complete trust in them.
