My mom is a resident of Fairmont of Northville in Plymouth and so far I have no qualms about it. She's in their assisted living, under level 2 care. She has a disease called celiac where she can't have gluten, and they're very accommodating that my mom is finally gaining weight again. I'm sure they're serving pretty good food. My mom's only been there probably a month, but so far I don't have any problems. She's had a couple of issues but they've been right on top of everything. The facility is nice. They're in the process of renovating a lot of the rooms and my mom was fortunate she got a renovated room. When you walk in on the bottom floor, it's also very inviting. The staff is very nice, at least the people who are attending to my mom are very sweet. The person who runs the place is also awesome. She is the reason that I put my mom in there or that I considered even putting her in there, to begin with. I haven't seen the activities, but they took me to see where they do all the crafts. They have a huge craft room. People are always saying old people like bingo, and they have bingo there too. It seems like they have a lot to keep the residents busy. They even take them on field trips outside of the facility and it's cool. I think the value for money is pretty good. Things are always a little higher than you'd like but it's probably decent compared to most places I've checked out. Of course, you can always find places that might be better, but I didn't think they were bad. Plus they offer numerous different packages on the level of care that a person would need.

Fairmont of Northville was nice, airy, and bright when you walked in. They were doing reconstruction. They're revamping the whole place, which is going to be super nice. With all that going on, it wasn't a bad thing. But it just didn't have a good vibe for me and my dad. The staff who assisted us with the tour was really informative and very nice. The receptionist was super nice. She's been there for quite many years. They were doing trivia in a room with the residents, and they were very active doing it and it was very cute. The rooms looked very roomy. The outside was very nice with some wood.

Fairmont of Northville was nice and clean. It was up to date, had everything, and it seemed like a nice facility, but it just wasn't for us. The rooms had a nice layout. They were good, decent size. They had an activities room and a common area on each floor with a TV and a place for some books to look at. The lady that gave the tour was very polite and very nice. It just didn't feel like home for some reason.

I went here and toured both the assisted living and memory care. The manager, the tour, the facility, the rooms, the lobby, and everything about it was nice. It was modern-looking and it was clean. The lady was knowledgeable and pleasant. The dining area was restaurant style and it was well-lit. They had a beauty salon, arts and crafts, and things for the residents. They had a calendar of different activities that they did every day.

I toured and I liked the fact that there were many ladies having lunch in the dining room when I was there, so that was a good opportunity for social interaction. Kim was also fantastic. The rooms they showed, the options available, and the facility itself were all very nice. It wasn't brand new, but it was very comfortable. They had a craft room, painting classes, a beauty salon, and onsite physical therapy. Their menu had a nice variety and the dining room was nice.

The staff here are friendly and the facility is very good. My mom does activities and plays board games there. We're not allowed to go in very much, and everybody that goes in has to sign in and fill out a form. She says the food is really good. It was nice inside and the people seem friendly.

It was very clean and beautiful. They don't leave the patients in the rooms. They had a staff member assigned to the patients to take them out of the room and downstairs to the general area every day. The lady who we had consultations with tried to be very accommodating to us and tried to work with us. They were doing something in a circle when I was there, like passing a ball around or something.

What I like best about it is that the staff actually formed a care plan for my mom, which the other ones do not have really. They are very friendly and fairly informative. My mom seems alright with their food. Sanitation is good. There is absolutely no odor. Her room is good. She seems comfortable with her room. She has a roommate.

I visited. The rooms were very nice and convenient. The staff was very accommodating. The person that took us around was very kind and very compassionate. The people that were living there seemed to like her. The activities were nice and very good. They had music playing, people playing cards, and they had tea time in the afternoon. The dining area was very nice.

I went here. The facility itself was small and nice. The rooms were nice but they were also small. The people were friendly. The staff all greeted me and wanted to know who we were. The lady that did the tour for me, her mother was actually a resident there. They had a lot of activities. When we walked by, we saw them tossing a ball, and there was a guy singing to another group of people. I thought their activities were good. In a lot of places that I visited, you just saw a lot of people just sitting around, and they say they have activities but they aren't in motion. But with this one, there were three different things going on at once. Also the dining area was laid out nicely.

I found it to be pleasant. The staff asked us what our needs were for my mother-in-law, and we wanted to see if we could fit. The rooms were adequate, and the food and the dining room were above average. I was impressed with the administrative staff by way of their the overall mood and attitude.

It was very good. It was clean. The rooms were big. In fact, it would have been my choice. It seemed to be more active. There were people in the dining room. Everyone was upbeat and very professional.

We like the proximity of it to my home. We like the staff, they've been flexible with us. They're very caring as well. The food is average, although there are choices and it's reasonably good. My father is in a separate apartment with a living room, bedroom, and a bathroom. They do have a variety of activities, but he doesn't get involved much. Bingo, cooking classes, and board games are not his thing. But he tends to like musicals; the string quartet and the singers that would come in. However, they could improve on their food service.
