Compassionate Assisted Living is OK for a smaller facility, but there are a couple of things that I didn't care for: the fact that my mom couldn't get out and be active and participate in activities, and also that she didn't have set meal times. She was always asked if she was hungry and the minute she said yes, then she got a meal. It was better for someone who really has no independence. The rooms were small. Her room was never cleaned there. I had nothing but positive things to say about how the woman who ran the place was caring and kind.
