My mother has been there for a few months,I live in Arizona and its hard for me to visit as much as Id like too,But my daughter sees her when she can. The people at scenic manor do everything they can to make sure she's well taken care of ,And for that Im so grateful! I feel so guilty because I can't take her, but I know I could never do for her the things they can.I tried but I couldn't watch her daily and work too! My mother is so stubborn with me,And I couldn't get her to take her meds.I don't know what it is about but she's as good as gold with them. It takes the heartache and worry away I used to feel,and I know she's being well cared for! Altsheimers is a terrible decease! I know she feels depressed and its the saddest thing in the world to see someone you love slip away. I pray every day for a cure! I don't think it will come in time to help my mother,But I pray they will come up with the answer in time to help others! Im so grateful to the people at scenic hill manor for being so kind and helpful to my mother,It was a nightmare trying to figure out what I could do for her so that she wouldn't hurt herself or go walking and forget where she lived! Now at least I am comforted knowing she is in good hands,And its a very nice place ! I had heard so many horror storys about people putting their parent in a rest home only to find their parent being abused and neglected,Scenic hill manor is the safest place I could have ever found for my mother! And I truly recommend it for any ones parent that has the problems my mother has.I know I sound like a commercial but Im being honest.Its not the cheapest place in the world which is why I can't visit very often because I can't afford to miss work,Im the only one she has to pay for it! I get no help from my two brothers its all on my shoulders! But I'll make it! God willing at least I know I'm doing my best for her!

I visited Scenic Hill Manor and I might consider this place for my parents. They have a beautiful and well decorated rooms and you can see from all the elderly that they seem to be very happy and well taken cared of. It's a wonderful place and the staff are incredibly nice & friendly. It seems that the people in Scenic Manor are enjoying their way of living.
