Kiva of Mount Dora

We've chosen Kiva of Mount Dora for my grandmother about a month ago. Her room is wide and has enough space. She has a bed, a dresser, a TV, a chair, a nightstand, and a private bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If she needs assistance with something and I cannot assist her, they are always there ready to lend a hand. They have a living room, a TV room, a patio where the residents can go with another staff member, a kitchen, and then an area where they play games. They do games for motor skills and memory, and they make the residents read as well.

We visited Kiva but they never got back with us. They didn’t seem like they were really interested, so we gave up on it. It was a nice facility and I really liked it; the rooms were really nice and the staff was good. We met the chef and everything was clean. They actually showed us the calendar of activities. In fact, they did a July 4th celebration that weekend. They have ice cream socials and we could come take her out and take her anywhere we wanted. They have a big family room that the whole family could come to and visit with her. Everything was really nice and what really stood out was the cleanliness and the staff. We met several patients and they were really nice.
