Consulate Health Care of Kissimmee is okay, but I don't really feel that they really take care of my dad as they should sometimes. I don't agree with the way they treat people there. It's not really a nice place. The nurses are always gathered by the nurses' station, just talking and on their cellphones. The appearance is okay but it does smell at times. Some of the staff could actually use more training and some of them have an attitude. I just think that's uncalled for because they're there to take care of people. The food is pretty good. They also have activities. Most of the nurses are good, but some look like they don't even want to be there. They should be a little more friendly.

My mother was at this center for 5 months until her final encounter with God last November 18, 2018. She received the best care from the wonderful staff of this facility. Every member of this staff can go the extra mile to serve anyone and for my family they are angels around all seniors under their care. I believe this special staff was trained to serve with love and this sentiment is contagious and came from God. God bless always this excellent senior center.

I had a dear friend who was able to walk with a walker and 2 assistance, who went for continued rehab and left in an ambulance, so dehydrated and weak with pneumonia, was unable to eat or drink or lift their arms and barely open eyes and died shortly after leaving and entering hospital. If you can't rehabilitate and hydrate at your facility you shouldn't be allowed to care for patients. Who would of thought rehab in reverse would end a life after such hard work was put in place prior to entrance to this facilty.

I liked the staff best at Consulate Healthcare. They were very nice and seemed to listen or pay attention to the residents. The residents seemed satisfied with the homey setting. They also go out on a little patio and play games. The rooms were nicely kept. However, they might be a little bit larger.
