The Canopy at Duval Station

My husband is at The Canopy at Duval Station. It is a new facility. It's very clean. It has a welcoming appearance. The grounds are well-kept. The rooms and hallways are clear and odor free. Newer decorations. Newer construction. More of a homey, southern kind of feeling that's more welcoming. The staff is seeming to try to take into consideration the individual needs of the different patients in the memory care facility. They have their own courtyard for the memory care. They have an activity main room for them, plus there's another activity room for them.

The Canopy at Duval Station was a beautiful and very well-kept facility. It was smaller than the other place, which was a plus in my mind. The reason I did not go with them was because they were not all-inclusive in their pricing. The other thing was they only had upstairs rooms available, and I did not want my uncle to have to deal with an elevator or anything like that. However, the place itself was very nice. I had no bad thing to say about that at all. It's a really lovely setting. And the staff was very open. She answered any questions I had. She gave me a folder thing when I came in. They had printouts of the different apartments. She was very nice and very accommodating.

The Canopy at Duval Station was very nice and very clean. It was brand new and they had single rooms. They had a la carte items that you could get done, like if you needed help with a shower, if you needed help with a bath, if you wanted to go to the salon, all of those things you had to pay extra for. The food was good and the facility was nice. The lady that took care of us during our tour was awesome. They had doctors' facilities and a pharmacy on site. They had a rec room, a weight room, and an outside patio area. They would bring in entertainment. They actually had field trips they could sign up for.
