"Several times I'd been at Sunrise to visit a resident. I had been extremely impressed not only with the courteousness, but the genuine warmth and interest that was displayed by the staff to visitors and residents alike. The staff was very upbeat, friendly and interactive. People made eye contact with a few "good mornings", "how are you" and "nice to see you". If they were pushing the cart or coming out of the room with sheets or whatever, it was at a nice pace, not frantic. The people genuinely were calm and they were going about their daily business in a very friendly, professional manner. I saw several staff out of the corner of my eye interacting with the residents in wheelchairs, so you didn't get the feeling people were just stuck in a room. You get the feeling that people are being attended to. One time we weren't sure which way to go, and a cleaning person asked if we needed help getting somewhere. There was a lot of attentiveness by the people who were employed there. There was somebody at the desk to greet you. It looked like it was kept very clean. I saw really good quality. In terms of my interactions though, I'll just speak to what I saw, I would give them a 5. "

"Interactions with staff can be challenging when it involves medical issues. Make sure there is alignment on medications and treatment. The rooms are nice and kept clean. My mother enjoys the university lectures and the music films. She also likes the creative writing sessions. The outdoor areas are well kept and lovely."

"I did an actual tour of Sunrise of Glen Cove. I was able to check the accommodations, the dining room, and pretty much the whole place. They take you on a complete tour. I was looking for assisted living with memory care. It seemed like a nice place. It looked very nice, clean, and neat. It was well organized. All of the memory care people are on the same floor; they stay on that floor for everything. In the memory care unit, they were doing arts and crafts that day. The staff that I met was very nice. The rooms were adequate."

"Sunrise Senior Living of Huntington Assisted Living was good, but it seemed very pricey. You know, we're talking about another thirty thousand, twenty-five thousand a year. So I said, I kind of have a sort of budget I have to work with. And when I compared it to the other facilities, you know, I said, "well, why pay that?" The facilities were good. I enjoyed everything, but because of the pricing, it kind of pulls the score back down around four. It's clean, it's nice. The staff is OK. They answered all the questions, everything that I had, and offered some information. They've got puzzles, bingo, pretty much the same as the other places."

"I am so thankful I found this place, taking care of My father who was 80 years old was becoming hard on me and my family, we didn’t like the idea of a nursing home so we opted for Divine Serenity. Best decision ever!! My father would call me and tell me how well taken care of he is there, along with being served 3 great meals daily. Danielle is always at the top of her game, from scheduling his doctor appointments to medication schedule, she has never missed a beat. The home is stunning sitting on an acre of land, it provides a safe outdoor area for my father to take walks, or just sit and relax on a nice day. If you want your family to be at ease while ensuring your loved ones are well cared for..look no further this is the place for you!"

"A good friend of my Mother's moved to the Atria a few years ago. I have visited her with my Mom on several occassions. The staff is wonderful and treats everyone so nice. The facility is clean and well taken care. They do such nice things for everyone, and make even the visitors feel welcome. The people all seem to be happy and friendly. The staff keeps everyone busy and has a lot of things going on. No one is ever bored or lonely. They have day trips and a lot of fun things to keep everyone happy. The food is great and they have special events for all the holidays. They keep all of the residents busy and happy. Who could ask for anything more. My Mom enjoyed visiting her dear friend, and was vey pleased to see that assised living can be so positive. "

"This was a nice facility. The staff was very hospitable and the conditions of the facility were exceedingly above those of the others facilities we visited during our time france two years ago. I would recommend both the facility and the location. "

"I like everything about Atria Cutter Mill. The place looks nice and well put together. I don't have anything negative to say. The staff members were very friendly and took the time and patience to go through the tour. It was a good experience. "I like Atria Lynbrook, but it was a little too big for my mother. It was too much walking for her. The facility was very nice. The sanitation seemed very nice. It seemed very clean. The staff was very friendly. They were very knowledgeable and seemed very caring. The dining area was beautiful, and the menu looked good. The rooms were very nice. "

"My grandmother lives at Sutton Gardens. I only have the greatest things to say about the quality of care she receives. Smaller caring community with great care and food. The staff is really caring and residents are well cared for. Great pricing and fully renovated. Check it out, well worth a visit."

"Absolutely beautiful! My mom is a resident in Birchwood and I am their biggest fan. Not only are the grounds and facilities beautiful, the care is incredible. Mom had a few unique issues and Avi and his staff were more than welcoming to us. This is moms 3rd Assisted Living (she was in some of the "bigger" and "nicer" but was never happy, now she is so happy and satisfied when I see her. I have only the greatest things to say about Birchwood and have already recommended it to 2 family friends. "

"I toured Amber Court of Pelham Gardens. It was nice, clean, and calm. They showed me the rec room, the cafeteria, the therapy room, and the outside. The staff was very nice. The layout was fine. The residents were watching TV the day I went there."
