My mother-in-law is going into the Harbor House. They were good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The residents were talking to the kitchen chef to find out if they needed any changes. They had a barber shop and a salon. I saw the outdoor seating area, the patio, the room, and the community area. The room was very nice. Harbor House takes Medicaid and she has Medicaid.

I thought the environment at Oyster Bay Manor was very ample. I liked it right away. We were even chatting with the people there. The staff who assisted me with the tour was professional and knowledgeable, and she cared about the people. I saw the dining area and the sitting room. The facility was located right in the downtown area. It was not far from the restaurants and stuff. The bedroom size was OK for one person.

We toured Harbor House. The facility was very beautiful and very nice. I loved it. They had a nice area. The staff was very nice and very professional. There's a lot of follow-up. They also had a lot of activities for the clients. I think it was a bingo game going on when we were there. They have game rooms and a beautiful atrium upstairs. It's very pretty. But it's a little too far away from most of the families, and it was a little pricier than the other place.

I had a very good experience at Harbor House. They were very receptive. They answered all my questions. They took me on a tour and showed me the availability. The person who I met for the tour was very nice. She was interacting with the residents while I was there. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms there was the residents have to share a wardrobe closet. I would have preferred each person to kind of have like their own closet. That was the only thing I didn't really like about it. Other than that, the rooms were a good space. I don't really have anything else to say about it. To me, the staff didn't look as happy though. I didn't taste the food, but it had a good variety on the menu.

We visited Harbor House. I thought that it was a nice facility. It was well set up. The woman who took me on the tour was very amiable and very knowledgeable. She seemed to care about what I was going through as a family member, and she wanted me to be in the best place. I liked Harbor House a lot. I thought it was a good place, and I thought that if I had to place my mother someplace, I would probably use that facility. They have an outdoor garden kind of area. They have activities depending on the level that the resident is at.

We're gonna put mom in Oyster Bay Manor. The staff was very, very friendly. It was clean. It didn't have the feel of an institution. It felt like it was a home. Everyone's very friendly and very welcoming. It wasn't too big. It's on the smaller side, so it's nice. They have outings into town, they do little trips, and they have lots of activities in the facility itself. I didn't taste the food, but we looked at the menu and everything was low in salt for diabetics. Everyone seemed like they enjoyed being there. I spoke to some of the clients.

I went to look at Harbor House. I was given a lot of information. I was shown both community areas, as well as the different levels of rooms that they have available. In addition to Harbor House, the staff also showed me the other facility, which is their assisted living. Harbor House is the memory care section of the facility. After she heard my story and describing my uncle's symptoms and where he's at, she felt like he's kind of in-between; that is why she wanted to show me both places and the residents. So everything is up in the air for me right now, but I was very satisfied with the tour and what I got to see and hear. She showed me the rooms. They had some artwork that the residents had done, and those were on display. When I was visiting it was lunchtime in both facilities, so the residents were all in the dining rooms. She showed me all the different rooms where they have the activities. Some of them are quiet rooms if you want to get away from it all and just sit, read, or whatever. It was good.
