"I visited Sutton Gardens twice, once by myself and once with my mom. The tour experience was very good. The administrator, I think her name is Jessica, was very helpful. She gave a thorough tour and gave information regarding what it would cost to house my dad if we would choose the community. The facility was very nice and very well maintained. They had enough staff. It wasn't overcrowded with residents. It was a small community, which was very encouraging because then I know that they won't be overwhelmed, and they can tend to the patients in their care. The dining area was well set up. They had small round tables, which were intimate and had four or five residents per table. And the staff was very helpful. I didn't try the food, but it looked good. The residents were eating during the tour. They do arts and crafts with the residents, which is good. They also have bingo. They have a TV room and an outdoor space, which was very good. It wasn't a large community, but it was good enough for a senior citizen or someone dealing with Alzheimer's. Like my dad, he's unsteady on his feet, but I don't worry about him being a fall risk there because the staff seemed very helpful when it came to the patients and their care."

"My husband moved into Sunrise at East 56th. The place is gorgeous. The care is very empathetic and professional. I couldn't be happier. The food is delicious. They have a variety of activities. They have a lot of music, singing, walking, arts, and crafts. The rooms are beautiful. They are very accessible, and they listen to you. They are concerned about the family's needs."

"We had been to Sunrise of Cresskill. We saw the lovely apartment. There was only one problem. It was only one bathroom and I required at least a half bathroom more. So, it would be bath and a half. It was a combination of independent and assisted and the other half of it was I guess Alzheimer's place. It was well kept. It had a very lovely dining hall. They had a lot of different things and activities that they provided for the seniors. There was an art class when we were there. The apartments were very nice. If it weren't for the fact that it was a one bathroom, I would have probably gone with it. The parking was accessible and not far from your apartment. It was very nice. I would recommend it to others. I would go there myself. I put my name on the list for a 2-bedroom because it has two bathrooms. "

They had a library, and they had activities. We chose it because it was in the neighborhood. We had our mother-in-law there, and we were very happy with it. "

"My sister moved to Coterie Hudson Yards. It's spectacular. It's very expensive, but it's truly a wonderful place. The staff is perfect. They interact wonderfully. They're very caring. They are always watching what you're doing. They're friendly. They're professional. I couldn't speak more highly of them. Her room is not big but has big windows and a beautiful bathroom. It has beautiful walk-in showers. It's a private room. Everything you can imagine of their daily activities like there was a violin concert yesterday. They're always working with people individually. It's top-notch."

"I moved to the independent living community of Harbour View Senior Living. People are very friendly, and I have a nice apartment. I was only able to live there for two weeks, and then I fell and broke my ankle, so I've been in rehab since then. I really can't judge a lot, but I was very happy for the time that I was active here. The staff at the independent living are fine and very helpful. I think they have a workout room, but I haven't seen that yet. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It's not overboard, nor luxurious. It's just very comfortable. The food is also okay. They have a community room, and they have games and everything. They also go on field trips. You get the value for the money that you spend."

"Everything has been great at Sunrise of Crestwood for my in-laws. The staff is very caring, and they accommodated our wishes to best that they could. They seemed to be having excellent care there. They have a modified one bedroom, and it is very clean and freshly painted with brand new furniture. They have a very good size closet, and the bathroom is very big. My sister in-law primarily takes advantage of the activities. They have bingo, karaoke, and painting. They have ice cream Sundays and movies. They also go on day trips to the supermarket as well as to social engagements. "

"Atria Park of Great Neck was very well maintained, and it was pretty brand new. They had just renovated the whole place. So, it was very fresh and clean, and very well staffed. Overall, the facility was very, very nice. They had painting classes and different medication departments. The medical staff that gives prescription medication, had a special little room for that. The yard and the balcony were nice with flowers. It was very pretty."
