"We chose North Shore Compassionate Care. The experience was wonderful. They were one of the first to reach out. They were very helpful. They came out to the house for an assessment and they gave us all the information that we needed, the pricing, and setting us up with somebody suitable for the hours that we needed. They were very quick with getting my parents set up with what we needed. The one male that we got was very helpful to my father and useful to my mom. They help and do the daily care routine with my dad like washing, cleaning, and movement. They do some light exercises with him. They do some light duties around the house to help my mom out when they finish early."

"Charmaine, the owner of Always Best Care, is amazing. Before my dad needed a caregiver, I asked Charmaine if she would meet with him to describe the types of services they provide. My dad instantly loved her. She spent a long time with him describing the services they provide but also recognizing how difficult this situation is and showing great compassion. When we needed her after he broke his hip, her agency quickly stepped into action and for months, Charmaine provided my dad with excellent caregivers and the quality of service I had hoped for. She gave my dad and my whole family peace of mind. I highly recommend Charmaine and her agency. "

"Our mom received in home health care from Home Helpers for 15 months from February, 2023 through her passing in May, 2024. We were blessed with a consistent team of caring, concerned, competent and compassionate caregivers over that time period. When we first started using Home Helpers, my mom had been discharged from a 30 day stay in rehab after covid and pneumonia. For the 1st 30 days, we had 24/7 care with shifts of caregivers. For the next year we went back to 16 hour care. During that time, mom's health and activity level dramatically increased, and the caregivers and mom became a great team going to viist friends, going to cultural events together, the beauty parlor, library and other places, in addition to meaningful time together in mom's condo. They helped her with her physical therapy and kept her active and engaged. As mom's health was declining in her last days, the caregivers worked diligently and professionally with the hospice team that we had for mom. My sister and I as well as my kids all lived out of town. however, we kept in close contact with mom and the caregivers, on the phone, through texts and multiple visits over the 15 month period of time. These women were spectacular. Having Tom and his team with mom during the twilight of her life gave our family tremendous comfort and confidence knowing that even though we were "in and out" visiting, that she was in great hands. i don't even want to think about what her last 15 months would have been like without Tom and the caregivers we had."

"The skilled nurse and care givers they provided were wonderful. They were vigilant and helpful with my very sick best friend and as POA, I was looking for round the clock care. Broad street went above and beyond to deliver that care with little advance notice. My friend could no longer stay at home, but these people call to ask how she's doing all the time."

"My mother had vertigo that required hospitalization. After leaving the hospital, she needed 24 hour care (two 12 hour shifts) until she did better. My mother wants to be independent, but we needed someone to be there until she got better and gets checked out by the her primary care doctor. In doing so, we greatly appreciated the diligent care given to my mother by Right at Home North Suburban Chicago. All who have come have done a good job. The 24 hour care was very successful. We will leave it up to my mother as far as how much help she needs going forward (and give her space to decide whether she wants to be alone), but we know that RAH is available to help us to do what we can to support her."

From the very beginning, we wanted to keep things simple. We wanted to provide the most personalized service available, so our clients could stay at home comfortably for as long as they choose. After taking a look at how home care was structured both at home and around the world, we found one resounding theme among home care recipients: people want consistency and customization. For this reason, we implemented our One-Client One-Caregiver Concept and assigned each client to their own Care Coordinator. We went a step further by keeping case loads for Care Coordinators as small as possible, so that they have ample time to get to know all of their clients. In line with our mission to provide the highest degree of personalization, all of our Care Coordinator are available to clients, their families, and caregivers 24/7. They manage and update each client’s ever-changing care plan, communicate with caregivers, and make home visits as frequently as ne cessary. Our One-Client One-Caregiver Concept is an extension of our emphasis on customization and consistency. After an initial assessment and caregiver placement, we focus on keeping the same caregiver or team of caregivers in place. In this manner, the same, knowledgeable staff is ever-present and random caregivers are never sent. Should there ever be a change in the regular caregivers for any reason, the Care Coordinator or Primary Caregiver will personally introduce the new caregiver to the client. Our client’s comfort is our top priority and we believe home care should not be characterized by a revolving door of providers.

"HomeInstead provided home care& housekeeping services for my mother after a 2month hospitalization & rehab stay. The entire staff from intake to in home care where kind, courteous, compassionate dependable & prompt. The staffing personnel were very accommodating & flexible to our needs. Most regularly assigned was JR she & my mother connected well from day 1. Not only did she provide housekeeping services, she took the initiative to go above & beyond & was great companionship & company for my mother. NM who was only a sub for 1 day was also great companionship for my mother. I think the entire staff from the bottom of my heart!! They were VERY patient, understanding & helpful to my family in navigating through a difficult & uncertain time!"

"I found this company via a Google search when I was looking for help for home with mom. They had good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. From the moment I sent a request for info online, this company was responsive and attentive. They contacted me in under 24 hours, followed up when they said they would, if anything changed with appointment times or anything else...they notified me immediately. Nevena, the care planning manager was awesome. She came to our home to meet the family. She was respectful, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable in knowing that mom would be safe in their care. Nevena knows her job, provided answers to our questions and made us feel at ease. In a time when customer service is lacking and there are many choices in companies, I would recommend Home instead to anyone looking for help with their loved ones at home. Thank you Nevena and Home Instead Senior Care!"

"We were a client of All Help Health Services. I had no problem with them. It is just the industry overall. They're short-staffed because people come, and they leave. It's just the state that we're in. They were all competent, experienced, and compatible with caring for my mom. Their billing needs to be updated. Scheduling was fine but their billing was not ideal at all. They provided us with basic home care, and it was a positive experience. The owner and the office manager were very responsive. They always came out for an interview with potential candidates. They just need to update and automate their billing to make it online. They just do it via U.S. mail and that's not cool."
