Whispering Pines of the Woodlands is a country setting where they have a duck pond behind; it's nice to look out and not just see traffic. The place is relatively new, but I find the staff to be caring and good. The only downside is I thought it was assisted living, but it's independent senior supported lifestyle, so I don't know how long that will work, but so far, so good. They're not at full capacity yet, but they have exercises and different things and walk down to the pond, which is fun to them. They told me they'll have a luau this weekend with food and costumes. We chose a bedroom in the back, so my husband has a view of the pond.
