Discovery Village at Alliance Town Center Assisted Living

I was in Discovery Village at Alliance Town Center Assisted Living. I had a little bit of care when I came in. I was recovering from surgery. Everything was fine. I never had any issues with them. They were on time every day to give me my medications. We had three meals a day. They were excellent, and I never had any problems. I had exercises. I had therapy there. The room was wonderful. They're beautiful, beautiful rooms. They're very caring. They came to visit you in your room at least a half a dozen times during the day to make sure you're OK. The food was very good, also. They kept you well fed. All ages and all types of ailments were taken care of there. The facilities were beautiful. They had games for people. They had excursions that they took on a shuttle. Then they brought in entertainment for people to listen to, so that was very good for the patients.

Discovery Village at Alliance Town is a very nice place. It is new, it's very modern, and they have a very caring staff. My mother was there for a month and a half, but she was not able to participate in activities. My mom was not well, so she didn't eat in the dining room, but as far as I know the food was fine. The staff are very nice and communicative; we are pleased with the staff. I know they have a salon, but she was just there for a short time and wasn't really physically able to partake in those things. The staff are very helpful. She had lived in the independent living section across the street, so it was convenient for us when we needed a place to quickly move her.
