My boyfriend stayed at HarborChase of Southlake. They didn't take very good care of him and he ended up in the hospital. They let him get mouth sores all over his mouth and back in his throat and didn't do anything about it. Finally, we got the doctor to prescribe some lidocaine rinse and they didn't give it to him. Then he got a massive urinary tract infection and had to go to the hospital. I don't like anything about it. It's extremely expensive. They charged him a fee to transfer him to the hospital. The aides didn't notify the doctor that he was sick, and he couldn't eat because he had mouth sores for about a week. The food was horrible. We had a Christmas dinner there and it was supposed to be rib roast, and it was so overcooked. I don't think they take very good care of their residents. It's beautiful. He had a really nice apartment. He was only there a short time, and the bill was $20,000, and they charged him extra for everything.
