Bedford Estates Senior Living is more of what you would expect, more traditional, one-building facility, but it is very attractive, very comfortable, and appears to be very well managed. The one that I toured was suitable for two residents, each getting a separate bed and room, a nice restroom, and a nice bathroom, and it's very comfortable. It's a good space and a nice area. I didn't try their food, but I observed the dining area. It's the traditional sort of dining area for the facility, and it was attractive, clean, and conducive to dining. They've got staff, communal recreation, coffee bars, and stuff like that. It's very conducive to assisted living. The staff was very polite, very knowledgeable, and informative. She was able to answer some questions about my brother's current status and what they could do for him if his status changed. It was an excellent interview.

I toured Bedford Estates Senior Living. The staff was exceedingly professional. They were very engaged. I thought the food was nice, and the place was really clean. It was located fairly conveniently. I like it a lot. It was on the short list before we decided to move my mother to another place. We looked at a studio and a one-room apartment. They had four different tiers, and we were looking at the middle tier. They had a good range of activities for the folks, like crafts, news articles, and current events. They did a little bit of stuff outside with them, like gardening. They were really good.

Bedford Estates Senior Living was very nice, very updated, and very clean. The staff was great, answered all of our questions, and explained everything. They did have a studio that we viewed. It was very spacious, and it looked very nice.

We checked the assisted living at Bedford Estates Senior Living. However, since we also have concerns that my father-in-law may be having dementia maybe in the near future, we were also looking at someplace that he could possibly transition from one to the other, so I like that they have both assisted living and memory care. It would have been perfect; it would have been great. We talked with the nurse, and she was just a cute thing. She would have worked with my father-in-law's medications, so it would have been a really good idea. I also like that they have individual rooms that can be like their own apartment. They would still have their own space. Everyone I met there was lovely too. They have an area where they could go outside, but they wouldn't be bothered. It's like a little park. The building was built around a courtyard in the middle, so that was very nice. Dad would love that. With them having food and everything, it would have been like being at a restaurant all the time, so my father-in-law probably would have enjoyed that, too. We talked with the dietitians when we were there as well, and they would have prepared his meal exactly like he wanted it, so it was kind of nice too.

It was very nice, but their rooms were smaller. They didn't have anything available other than a roommate-type deal, where it's a Y shape: someone lives on the left and someone else on the right. It was also a very small room with very little space. The people were nice, it smells nice and clean, but it just didn't fit our needs. They were very nice folks, we toured the facility, and the pricing was good. Everything was nice about it, but there just wasn't enough room for my sister. They were very friendly. The lady who is now the activities director for the residents started out there seven years ago. She started out as an entry-level nurse/caregiver and was promoted to her current position. Everyone was very nice, and no one was rude or nasty, so I've nothing bad to say about the people we went to see. The dining area was cozy and there was plenty of room for people. It appeared to be very clean but small; it's social. But it appeared that people would be very happy, pleasant, and very pleased to be there. They have beauticians who come in too.

My in-laws moved in. It is very nice, welcoming, warm, inviting, and we're very happy with it. They haven't complained about the food, so it must be good. They've just started participating in the activities.

My mother has been here for almost four weeks now. It’s small, secure, and has a homey feel. She likes to clean so they let her help with wiping the tables. They have a little courtyard area where they take them out on nice days for walks. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and I believe they get a snack during the day, too. They have transportation to get to the doctor. The staff is helpful and seems to be attentive and caring.
