I moved into The Positano. The management people were very, very helpful in helping me get into the complex. They have a swimming pool and wheelchair access going into the pool, which shows me that they care. The complex is very well-manicured. The apartment is very spacious. The people are very friendly neighbors. It makes me feel like I'm back in the country. My one-bedroom is 800 square feet, almost as big as the two bedrooms I moved out of. The room is very spacious. It has covered parking, and it's great.

The first unit I lived in there, in building 15, had rats! Rats were in the ceiling, walls and ducts. We were pulling them out of the ceiling on glue traps and even saw one outside my front door in the hallway. And yes, I have proof. After a lot of complaining on my part, they moved me into a different unit, in a different building. Then, when my lease was coming up, the rent went up over two hundred dollars per month on that unit! I am a disabled widow, living on a fixed income. I could not afford that, so I had to move. It has been over 90 days now since I moved out and it looks like I'm going to have to take them to court for the remaining balance of my security deposits. Just shameful!

Primrose Park is near my oldest daughter, and I could just walk to her house. It was a beautiful, gated community, and close to a park.

I'm moving into Primrose Park Villas next month. The place was fine. I feel blessed to get a place there. This complex is gated and they have a 24-hour security. I don't have to worry about unwanted situation. I can walk out on the grounds, and usually I'm on a rollator, and I won't have to be afraid. The staff is accommodating. They did have activities planned. They have bingo, water aerobics, etc. They take their residents out on field trips, to doctor's appointments, or to the stores. In their apartments, you have your own kitchen with your own microwave. You also have your own washer and dryer. The best thing about this place is that I got a unit downstairs, a one-bedroom apartment with a bathroom and a walk-in shower. So I am independent.
