I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom has been at Abe’s for almost three years. They are a loving community for my mom but also for me. There are many engagements opportunities such as painting, music, and trivia. They have a resident cat, birds and fish. Abe’s is clean and they love on my my mom like they would their own mom. There is regular communication from the team of caregivers and a beautiful courtyard to be able to spend time outside in the sunshine listening to the birds and wind chimes. It is a lovely place that feels like home.

I am/was a resident of this facility

When I decided to live here I was very impressed with the friendliness of everyone that I encountered. Then when I was able to select my apartment I was thrilled at how well it suited my needs. The staff here is outstanding. They are all so caring and alert to the needs of the residents. I couldn’t be happier anywhere else.

Abe's Garden provides a best in class environment for seniors including inspiring memory care support. Staff members are consistently friendly, supportive and caring. Abe's has been a real blessing for our family - we are so thankful for their great work.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother in law has lived in independent living for 4 years. She loves being there. Her apartment is roomy with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. The food I’ve shared with her has been delicious, and the staff is incredibly loving and caring. She enjoys many of the numerous activities offered to the residents—we often have to go look for her because she’s out and about on the campus with her friends! A year ago she had a medical emergency, and we couldn’t have asked for a more sensitive and professional response. Daily, we are very grateful to Abe’s Garden and it’s remarkable staff for making it possible for a lady in her late 90’s to live a happy and productive life.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My Dad lived in Independent Living for 6 years and then on to Assisted Living for 4 years. He loved his studio apartment. It had everything he needed. The perfect size for him. He enjoyed the excellent restaurant and also food delivery to his room when he didn’t feel well. Lots of activities to participate in, Dad especially enjoyed the music programs and wine and cheese on Thursday’s. But the most important part of his experience were the wonderful nurses, caregivers and staff. We always felt like we were members of a loving family. So grateful Abe’s Garden Community was Dad’s home these last 10 years.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother has been a resident of Abe's Garden Community for 11+ years. She moved there based on the experiences of another long-time resident and we are so glad this is the home she chose! She is in independent living and loves her studio apartment with balcony, the staff, services and campus available to her. I have been impressed with their care of the residents, particularly during COVID. The entire staff was diligent with the protocols that had been established and as a result they had very few occurrences of illness. During a very anxious time for everyone for our elderly loved ones, I felt as secure as possible knowing how careful the team at Abe's was being! Suffice it to say - we are grateful we found Abe's and appreciate everyone there and the job they do everyday!

I visited this facility

We found Abe's Garden Community for my mom. For independent living, I thought that the facilities were very nice, they have many different sizes of rooms. Some of them have balconies, which my mom likes because she can be outside, even though she's in a building with an elevator. Superb staff. We've seen the restaurant. We haven't tried their food, but we looked at the menu. They have a set menu and then they have a special like soup, main course, and dessert every night. You can order either off the menu or you can get what's special for the day. That's for lunch and dinner.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

From our first visit I knew this was the place for my husband and for our family. I was immediately impressed with the open and airy environment and all the possibilities for engagement. From the art room to the conservatory to the beautiful courtyard. All of those spaces have proven to be helpful in keeping my husband connected as much as possible as his disease progresses. The rooms are comfortable and furnished with simple but attractive pieces that are specially designed for people with dementia. Families are also allowed to personalize the room with their own furniture if they want. But certainly it is the people who have made the biggest impression on our family. They are kind and caring and responsive. They are gentle and loving in their care of my husband, they take time to listen to and address any concerns that I have, and have been a lifeline for me and my family. I am so grateful that we found a home at Abe’s Garden.

I visited this facility

Park Manor was beautiful. It was very updated. It seemed like a really nice facility. The apartments were big. The staff was wonderful. They also offered assisted living in addition to independent living. It felt like the general population of the residents seemed a little older because there were more people that needed assistance. Overall, I felt like it was a wonderful facility. They had a lot of different activities.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I visited this and an assisted living before moving here. I just felt right when I came here...it's beautiful and other residents are happy to be here and so friendly. There is an assisted living floor right here in case I need assistance...also there is Abe's Garden for further help. I feel very blessed to be here.
