My mother has moved into Feridean Commons. It's clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a chef that prepares meals, and the meals are not fussy and elegant. I know that they use a lot of fresh produce. They make food that is creative, but not like way out there. I like the food, the staff, and the cleanliness of the facility. She has hospice and the same hospice team can be used at Feridean. The staff has been everything that we've wanted them to be. When I look at the activities calendar, it looks like it has what everybody else has. There are puzzles, games, music, and things. I was in the other day and I saw somebody in there playing the guitar, giving like a mini-concert, and the room was full. There's painting, and there are lots of trips.

Feridean Commons is recommended to us by someone I know and it's the best one that we've found. They have a very good staff. My mom is in a room with one-bathroom and one-bedroom. The food is adequate and good. I like it that they are all in one floor and they are a small group, only around 60 residents in the building. I like it also that it feels like a home and not an institution. They offer a lot of activities and my mom is happy there. I am satisfied with their care and I recommend them to others.
