"We have chosen Bickford of Worthington for my dad. My dad knows someone who already lives there. I've met with the folks there, and I liked all the staff. The assisted living area has a bedroom, a living room, and a small kitchenette. They have several activities. They have something going on every day. They do have a beauty shop, a barbershop, a community meeting area, a library, a dining room, a garden area, an outside area, a nice front porch area where residents can sit out. The staff was very friendly. All of the staff members that I saw greeted me and said hello."

"The lady who did the tour at The Avalon of Lewis Center was good to follow up later with me. She reached out to me several times and they even brought something by my door and left a little gift, a book, on how to pick communities, and things like that. She also followed up with me through email and phone calls multiple times. I thought the tour was great. I liked the facility. It was very clean. It smelled good and it was well-maintained. It was the closest to where we lived so I was considering it during the time that I was looking for my dad."

"Sage Park Memory Care & Transitional Assisted Living was a five because of the level of care that they give, a very clean environment, and it felt very safe. The tour and the amenities that they have were really nice. It looks like they were very caring and very helpful information-wise. Everybody spoke when I was there. The common areas were really nice and clean. The rooms were very nice, clean, and big. I did like the fact that they had private rooms. The shared rooms weren't bad, but pricing is a little high for me."

"Overall, The Bristol was a very nice place. It's very new, so everything's sparkling clean. The staff was very, very pleasurable to talk to. In fact, I knew a couple of people who moved in there and they liked it very much. The rooms and the closet areas were a little smaller than we liked, but other than that, we liked everything about it."

"My mom loves the staff and says they are friendly and helpful. She is always saying that there are an abundance of activities to choose from every day. One of the things she realized was how easy it was to make new, and dear, friends. She loves her community!"

"I went to tour. I looked at both their assisted living and memory care. It was very clean. The rooms were nice. They were very accommodating to meet your needs. They had activities. They had menus so that if the seniors that were there didn't like what was being served, they can choose something off from the menu, so that was a plus. It was good. They made sure the rooms were bright, and they had windows so that they could look out. They had their own little doors and you could decorate them to try to make them feel at home like bring in their own pictures and whatever, and they help you do that."

"I toured The Avalon of New Albany. I liked everything about it. The people were great. They were very informative and very nice, and they walked me around everywhere. They told me all the things that I didn't know I needed to look for. The facility itself was beautiful. They had a special art room, a chapel, and a lounge area downstairs which looked like a very nice cafe place. Once a month, they have a podiatrist that comes to the facility. There was a courtyard and a screened-in patio. There was a beauty and barbershop. They had a restaurant-style dining area and a couple of different locations throughout the building that are larger lounge areas with little kitchens where you could have all your family come for big dinners. They had a popcorn machine, and they do happy hour once a week. They gave us muffins for snacks and it was very good. They had a lot of things written on a menu board that you could order. And if it wasn't on that day's menu, you could order something, particularly that you like. "

"My mom is in The Inn At Olentangy Trail. It is a beautiful facility. My main complaint is that I do not feel they have enough aides. The people are very nice. They do the best they can. "

"My family member has been a resident for several years, and is currently in Assisted Living. Most important, is that my mom is safe and happy here, and I know the staff values her as a member of the community. Administration has always been open to communication and resolves questions quickly. Food is good, and surroundings are pleasant and in good repair. Various apartment layouts are available. Both indoor and outdoor lounge areas are used for recreation therapy and special events. Transportation is offered for outside appointments, lunches, and shopping."

"My mother is now at The Forum at Knightsbridge. It has been fine so far. The people seem friendly and take care of my mom. My mother has a studio apartment, which is plenty large enough for the few things she has with her. She gets three square meals a day. Yesterday, they had a USO show, which was great. She has been playing a lot of jigsaw puzzles. So far, it has been working out. They have a small library. She does physical therapy, so she is keeping in shape. They are making sure she gets her dinner and that she goes for her meals. They have given her medicines daily, too. There is a doctor who sees her once a week. Everything is good."

"My parents knew about Trillium Place because some people that go to their church live there, so that was how we chose to look at it. We were only there for a few hours, but it seemed very nice, the rooms seemed nice, the staff was friendly, and it seemed like a good place. The rooms were a decent size, they were clean and updated, so that was nice, and the facility had a lot of nice features too. There were grounds to walk around. We got to eat there and the food was good. "

"The moment you walk in the front door, the reception staff are there to greet you with a kind smile. The rooms and hallway are very clean and spacious enough. Housekeeping staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. It seems to me that the staff knows every resident and greets them with a smile. There are activities to suit every interest, if one does not exist, you can always start one. If you have a question, just ask. "
