Overall, The Bristol was a very nice place. It's very new, so everything's sparkling clean. The staff was very, very pleasurable to talk to. In fact, I knew a couple of people who moved in there and they liked it very much. The rooms and the closet areas were a little smaller than we liked, but other than that, we liked everything about it.

If I could leave a zero star I would. My father lived there in assisted living. He had a bathroom accident and two young aids argued over him about who was going to clean him up. One saying it wasn't her job to do that kind of thing. I stepped in to do it myself and was told because it was the weekend housekeeping wasn't available nor mops or cleaning supplies. I had to drive home, get cleaning supplies and clean up my father and his bathroom. When I complained to administration the response was lukewarm at best. It's beautiful but if your loved one needs physically taken care of look go somewhere else.

The Bristol just checks all the boxes. It is beautiful. It's brand new. The food is good. The staff is nice. The apartment's very nice, too, and my mom is going to have a beautiful balcony when she moves in. The size of the rooms is so nice. It has lots of closets and she is going to have her own storage space. They have activities directors that come in and help. They have 24-hour nursing care, which was important to me, where a nurse practitioner comes in three times a week to the facility. They have a theater, a little cafe, beautiful walking grounds, which look over to a scenic park, a couple of really nice terraced patios that you can look out on, and a market that is right next door that you can walk to.

I think we've been to The Bristol a few times already. The physical appearance was fantastic, especially the fourth floor was looking out over to the back and a large patio where you can see the woods. It was just beautiful and the apartments were reasonably sized. The staff was very cooperative. They kept in touch with us but didn't bother us. They've been very attentive but not pushy. We also tried the food and we enjoyed it. They had a movie theater and an exercise area. It was very comfortable and several people were very nice enough to let us go into their apartments, and they're very generous in sharing their thoughts. They all had a very positive attitude.

I toured The Bristol, and I loved it. The room is beautiful, very spacious, and very nice. They have a restaurant-type dining area.
