This non-profit organization has been rated as one of the top 5% of facilities in the state of Ohio. Being a locally owned entity, there is a great deal of civic pride in the approach they have to caring for people in the city and surrounding area who are of retirement age. They provide services through two separate communities, Berkeley and Westover Retirement Communities. The staff is very loyal and really seem to enjoy working with the residents. The two communities, Berkeley and Westover, both have independent living condos, independent living apartments, personal care apartments, assisted living, healthcare, rehabilitation, and special care units for the memory impaired. In addition, they provide meals on wheels, in-home services through Colonial At Home, The Bever Wellness Center, and a wonderful restaurant (The Coach House Tavern & Grille). Highly-rated preschools are maintained at both communities for local residents and the children of employees.
