I toured The Woodlands of Hamilton. They were understaffed which is a bit concerning. I like the bathrooms. My sister could have her sink and the toilet, and she could just go right into a walk-in shower pretty easily. I did like that, and the rooms were spacious enough. They have windows which is a plus. The staff was great.

I went to The Woodlands of Hamilton. I liked everything about their facility. The people there were very kind and very welcoming. It was clean and very well taken care of. I liked the way it was set up. It's all on one floor and everything is convenient to the dining area. There are lots of areas for the residents to read or do activities. I like all of the activities that they plan for the residents, and they give them a lot of choices of things to do. The staff was very knowledgeable, very kind, and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable.

I moved my parents into The Woodlands of Hamilton about a month ago. The staff is excellent. They've got consistent staff and that's what I like most about it. It's the same people all the time. The facility is clean and comfortable. They do activities regularly. They're good for the residents there. It keeps them engaged out of their room. Value for money is above average. I've heard their food is amazing. I would give it an excellent rating overall.

My dad moved to The Woodlands of Hamilton. The room wasn't initially ready when we first came. They had some issues like the door lock needed to be changed because it wasn't working. People are extra friendly, caring, and good staff. They go out to restaurants. They go shopping. They have many daily activities that are in-house, the food three times a day and snacks any time. They have a generalized hall open area that has a TV, a couple of couches, and a table where they dine out.

The Woodlands of Hamilton would not take my husband. The problem is he falls too often. So for right now, I'm just going to keep him home. I really liked the community. It seemed very friendly. The rooms were nice. It was very clean. I liked it a lot. The only thing I didn't like, and I understand, they came out and did an assessment with him, but they didn't feel comfortable because he had fallen. Then the nurse promised to come back and she didn't ever call me or contact me to make another appointment. The director that I met with was very nice and very helpful, but the issue that I had is that they did not follow through on what they had said they would do. The facility was very clean, very nice, nicely laid out, and nicely decorated. Everybody I talked to was friendly. It seems almost like a home.

My husband moved into The Woodlands of Hamilton. Everything is good about this place. There's no negatives at all. The caregivers are very tender and kind, and the place is very clean. The food is good. The amenities and the activities that they provide are just really great. They do his laundry and that's a good thing. He could furnish his own place with his own things, which is a positive. He's just happy. He's happier than I've seen him in months. People that have visited us also made the same comment about how clean and nice it is, how the people are so friendly, and how happy my husband seems to be. It's all good. They have a happy hour. They have exercise in the mornings. They have planned daily outings to take them to the dollar store or somewhere else. They also have church services. They have a little ice cream parlor and they have a lot of community areas where the people go and sit and talk and chat. The common areas are very nice. They're very neat, clean, and cozy, with the fireplace and a bird sanctuary area.

I like the look of The Woodlands of Hamilton. It was clean. If I walk into a place and I smell odors or anything else, I'm just kind of turned away. There was nothing I didn't like about it. We chose the other place because it's rural and it's a farming community area and my parents were raised in a small town atmosphere. The location of The Woodlands of Hamilton is more city and not a country atmosphere. There are different values between the city and the rural areas. I'm not saying that the city has bad values, but my parents have the background of the people where they went. They had amenities, but it boiled down to the background and where my parents would be more comfortable. It looked nice. It was more or less on the west side of Hamilton. They're near the hospitals. The staff members during the tour seemed like great people.

I went to visit The Woodlands of Hamilton. It seemed like they had a lot of activities planned for the residents throughout the day. That's probably what I liked best. What I like the least was maybe the size of it, it was a pretty big facility compared to the others. The staff only let me tour the assisted living part because that's what I was interested in, but they do have memory care. It was great. I liked the fact that I have lots of activities throughout the day to keep the patients busy, and they had a cute little ice cream parlor, too, I liked that. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and knowledgeable. Everything was clean. They had an outdoor area, but it wasn't like a courtyard. It's within 20 minutes of where we live, and I think it's pretty close to a hospital and some shopping.

We toured The Woodlands of Hamilton. The building's very clean and they offer a lot of services and a lot of activities for the residents. My mom just liked it. Everything is on one level, so it's not a multiple level building, which in her case would be good. And it was affordable. We looked at a studio room. It was sufficient for her needs, and it was big enough. The staff was very, very nice. Christina gave us the tour, showed us all the different things that are available to her, and highlighted the activities. We went and reviewed the menu, and everything looked quite nice. The dining areas was nice and bright with lots of windows. The menu itself looked good. If the person doesn't care for what they're having that evening, there are alternative meals that they can get. The place is very clean, and everything looked like it was up to date.

The Woodlands of Hamilton seemed to be a nice and a friendly place. Everyone I've met so far has been good. The facility was very clean. They had a workout room, ice cream parlor, and a dancing room with a jukebox music, and they do crafts every day. It's in a nice well-lit wooded area, too.

The Woodlands of Hamilton was the nicest of the places I visited. There were a lot of activities going on. They had women doing crafts in an area with assistance. They had an ice cream parlor, exercise, music area, and solarium. Each of the rooms had separate pods, one had a bird area, another one had a fireplace and little comfortable seating. The staff was very nice, and all the people I ran into were very nice. The rooms were very nice also.

I have visited this community on multiple occasions, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, the community is normally clean and never smells when i visit. The residents are happy and interactive every time i visit. I would recommend going to see for yourself what they offer and the community before making decisions based on reviews. I would recommend this community to all and so would many other families who live there.

This facility is terrible. The have a bed bug infestation in the entire place. They do not hire quality help and do not pay them very well so they stand outside to smoke numerous times during the day. The food is prison quality and this place is not kept clean. I would never recommend this location for your loved ones.

We were initially pleased with this facility for my mother, but then a change in ownership a few years ago led to a significant decline in the quality of care, consistency of care (high turnover), and maintenance of the space. We moved her elsewhere after negligence of staff (leaving her alone in the shower) was not reported and was later denied by management (even after being confirmed by other staff). I don't expect perfection--mistakes happen--but combined with other declines in care and maintenance, the lack of transparency and recognition of responsibility was unacceptable. I hope that things have improved since then.

The Woodlands of Hamilton is a very friendly place and my mom has already moved in. I think they serve the residents very well. The rooms are extremely clean. They have efficiencies, 2-room apartments, and all of it is very nicely taken care of. The food was very good. They offer daily activities and field trip once a week. They also have guest artists and concerts that come in right at the venue once in a while. The value is excellent. The other thing that I liked about it is they have a limit on the number of residents that they'll be assisting at any given time and it also looks like there's not a lot of turnover of staff which is really important.

My husband is going into Woodlands. It is excellent, and the layout is fine. They have activities going on for all levels of people. The dementia and Alzheimer's unit is very nice. I would recommend it.

My brothers, father and I visited this facility looking for a place for our father. A progressive place going from assisted living to needing memory care for (dementia/Alzheimer's) There was staff seen interacting with residents, Management interacting. Nice common areas. Residents seen and happy. We had to literally toss a coin to pick the facility we chose for our father to become a resident of.

I liked The Woodlands of Hamilton very much. I spent an extra time like maybe three hours, so I got to know a couple of the people that run the place very well; plus they have kept in contact with me over the past couple of months. They have a small memory care lane; it’s divided up into two 12-resident sections, and they do have a very good staff. The pricing is very reasonable. I liked the way it’s set up. They have separate dining rooms, the people are able to choose from a large menu even the memory care lane. The pricing was good, but again there’s no place to exercise or walk, and they don’t take the residents out anywhere.

My mom was in The Woodlands of Hamilton before. I think it’s overpriced for the level of care that you get. The staff is not friendly, and they don’t react quick enough to the needs. The atmosphere was very good. The rooms were a comparable size and nice. They could improve on their attention to the residents.

Woodlands was close to me, but we were not happy with it. They were encouraging me to place mom in the memory care unit because she had a dog. It looked like at one time it was a wonderful facility, but as far as general care, repairs, and upkeep goes, they weren't as good as they should be.

My mother has been at Woodlands of Hamilton for several years. It is very nice. I'm very happy with the staff. We have a private room for her. It is a large room with a kitchenette and stand-up shower. The food is adequate and the dining room is okay.
