"We went to Dumont Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. It was very good. Very nice. The space is pretty big, and there are a lot of people helping. It's very active, and it's very well organized. I couldn't go inside the rooms, but I saw them from the hallway because they are preventing people from getting sick from COVID, so I'm not allowed to go in. But it was pretty big, nice, and well-decorated. The beds are pretty nice. It's very nice inside. They had the therapy section. It's pretty big and very nice. They are giving therapy to everybody, not just to one person. They work together. I see a lot of good things about the communication between them. I saw that they work well. It's very clean, too."

"I really enjoyed having my grandmother at Hopkins center. The activities were so well planned, the nurses were very sweet and supportive! They even had a farmers market! I'm so happy I had my grandma came here. If my grandma would voluntarily eat veggies that would be very helpful. Open to suggestions on how to do that! We really appreciate all that was done for her!"

"My mom stayed at Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond. The place was clean, and the staff members were very attentive. They were in constant contact with me and answered all my questions. They were great. One of the social workers was great, and the other one was a little bit of a snotty woman. Luxor was great. I'd ask for a test, and if they didn't do it, they'd give me a reason that was concrete and reasonable. Other people who went there had nothing but good experiences, too. That was one of the reasons my mom went there."

"Really impressed with the care here. The administrator was really personable and caring. He sat with me for 3 hours and worked through some of my concerns. Can't beat how much time he spent trying to make my life a little easier, kind of uncomfortable having mom outside my hands after being home with us for so long. Also nurse Kethrine was working late nights with us and was very very impressive as well. Rehab is going well I can tell there are staffed really well. Overall very happy so far"

"The facility makes daily automated phone calls to residents' family/friends, letting them know if a confirmed covid case is identified in the facility. This has shown to be an efficient way of maintaining strong communication with residents' loved ones."

"I cant say enough good things about the care that my late wife received at the Townhouse. I cared for her at home for several years but when it became too much i searched for the best place I could find on Long island. The townhouse staff, the aides, the social workers, rehab team, nurses and doctor became more than staff, they became friends to both of us. I was there daily and we became family. Eventually my wife Eileen passed and even afterward I was moved that so many of the staff came to the wake and funeral. Incidentally during the time she was there, a good friend to her and so many others Monsignor Thomas H of LI's God Squad fame, was there as well. I am grateful for all that the team at the Townhouse did for us.,"

"My grandmother was a resident at A Holly Patterson until her passing. My grandmother who always fussed about cleanliness didn't once complain about the place. She was well taken care of: always clean, dressed and comfortable. The staff were professional, supportive and respectful. We felt the care from the staff and was informed of any changes in her condition. Due to her limited mobility she was not able to due much but staff brought her activities that she can do. I am so grateful for all the staff who took care of her. There was always a smile on her face when we visited."
