I moved to the independent living community of Harbour View Senior Living. People are very friendly, and I have a nice apartment. I was only able to live there for two weeks, and then I fell and broke my ankle, so I've been in rehab since then. I really can't judge a lot, but I was very happy for the time that I was active here. The staff at the independent living are fine and very helpful. I think they have a workout room, but I haven't seen that yet. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It's not overboard, nor luxurious. It's just very comfortable. The food is also okay. They have a community room, and they have games and everything. They also go on field trips. You get the value for the money that you spend.

I toured Harbour View Senior Living. The rooms are big enough, and everything is comfortable. Also, I got the opportunity because everything is included, including the meals, medical attention in case some emergency shows up, and nursing service in case I need it. A parking lot is also included. I can park my car anywhere because there are a lot of areas to park my car, so it's very convenient for me. There is a social room where people can meet and make a program. The price is not very cheap, but it's correct because everything is included. The people were very kind and nice.

I toured Harbour View Senior Living, and it looked very nice. It's an older building, but it was fine. The staff treated me very nicely, and I even got someone who lives there saying wonderful things about it. The staff was great, and I got all the information I needed.

I toured Harbour View Senior Living. I thought the place was dreary, but the room was a nice size. The lobby is very nice, but I thought the other facility was the nicest place I've been to. The facility was clean. The staff was very nice, and a nurse also came out and evaluated my cousin, and she was very nice. They were very accommodating.

I visited Harbour View Senior Living. It was a very nice apartment, but the problem was it was a studio and I think it'd be better for my husband to have a one-bedroom. The traffic that way is like New York traffic and it's a lot of traffic. It was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and the parking was excellent.

Harbour View Senior Living is too far for me because all my doctors are in New York. But in my opinion, it's a very peaceful and lovely area. The facility is very interesting in that you won't get lost in it. The staff was very respectful and very nice. If I choose to live there, I know they'll help me out with things that I will need.

Our experience at Harbour View Senior Living was good. The admissions process was simple and easy. Staff was able to send ahead of time, photos and information about their activities and what they do. And then upon arrival, it was also very efficient. Meeting the team members between activities and the nurses all came around even before I left that day, which was great. I think my father had a good experience. He has onset dementia, so he doesn't remember all the things all the time, but they did send me also updated videos of him when I was away engaged in different activities and made sure that he had his phone available so that I could speak with them regularly. So, they were very helpful. On the return, I didn't see anyone. But I do want to do like, a follow-up of how everything went while he was there. But overall I think it was a good experience. The room was like a dorm room, very plain and simple. I brought everything that he needed, a television and his clothes. His dorm room, basically with his bathroom, was nothing fancy. They have lots of common areas. They even have a little chapel there. They have lots of activities.

My uncle was at Harbour View Senior Living. The care was very good. He didn't complain about the food. Everybody was just very helpful. It was very clean, a little old, but usable. They had physical therapy. They had a lounging room for everyone. They got you out of your bed every day, and again, they were just very friendly.

I had a good tour of Harbour View Senior Living. Everybody was very pleasant, and my daughter liked it, too. It was very neat and there was a lot of space. The thing that impressed me was how clean and organized it was. It also smelled good there. It was very peaceful, and it felt like being around family. The staff was very pleasant and she explained everything. She was very professional and knowledgeable. The room was very nice. It looked like a hotel room. They had a lot of craft activities, bingo, and holiday activities. The patio was nice and very clean. It had flowers and plants, and I loved that.

Harbour View Senior Living has three sections and I'm in the assisted living, but the majority of residents here are in the nursing home section. The staff is excellent. They go above and beyond. My room is fine. I have a wood floor, a bathroom, and two sets of windows (there are window sills that have plants on them). There's ample closet space, a room for a refrigerator, and I have a dresser with a mirror. So, the room itself is nice. The food here is very good. It's great quality and you always have options. We're always getting pork chops and there's always an alternative, whether you want a cheeseburger or you want a grilled cheese sandwich. We also get crab cakes and spaghetti. There is bingo and then they do singalongs, but 98% of the residents here, I don't relate to. Other than bingo, I don't participate in any activities. They do arts and crafts, which I don't participate in as well. There are very few activities (other than the bingo, and it's like you win $1 or $2 per game).
