My mother stayed in Juniper Village at Paramus. It was very clean and professionally run. The staff was very attentive. The building was very nice, well-maintained, and very clean. It's a very pleasant environment. My mother had limitations. She needed a walker. She was in a PT program, so she wasn't someone that moved around very much, but they provided her physical therapy on-site, which was helpful in her attempted recovery. It was very expensive. I think it was over $8,000 a month.

Juniper Village at Paramus seemed very comfortable and very homey. There was a lot of activity going on and the rooms were very nice. The lady that gave the tour was also very nice and very knowledgeable. She gave me a lot of information and answered all my questions. I like that they had an extensive menu. They have their specials but they also have their staple products in case somebody doesn't like whatever the special offerings are. I just don't think that it would be possible for Mom to go there because the rooms are not furnished, even for respite residents. You'd have to bring your own bed, T.V., and dresser. Other than that, they were a great facility. I met the physical therapist and he was very good and very knowledgeable. The facilities were very clean.

My mom moved into Juniper Village at Paramus. It was conveniently located for both myself and my brother. It had a comfortable hotel-type feeling to it, not a medical feeling, which was important. Financially, it was the same as all the other ones. The move-in was very easy. They allowed us to have things shipped to the facility. The room was empty and clean. We were able to easily move in the things that my mom wanted to take with her, so we had no issue at all moving in. They have restaurant-style dining. If my mom is not interested in the menu of the day, she can order from a separate menu. She seems quite happy with everything. The staff members are very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We have no complaints at all. They have daily shuttles that take them shopping if they want. They also have nightly shows that are put on by people who live there who are theatrically inclined. There are art classes and games. There are plenty of activities that my mom can get herself involved in. I was very comfortable from the moment we walked in. It was very warm and inviting.

Juniper Village at Paramus was clean. It seemed to have a lot of activities for the people. I had a meal there and the meal was very good. The staff seemed to be very pleasant, and there seemed to be quite a few of them, so it appeared that the ratio was very good. They have outdoor places where you can sit. They had a nice dining room. They had a nice area where they had activities. They have a bus they run to get people around, to shopping centers or to doctors and things like that.

I was very, very impressed with Juniper Village at Paramus. I would like to probably get an apartment there. I liked the community because it's very clean and very inviting. The one-bedroom unit looked very good. I looked at the menu and it looked pretty good. They had some entertainment.

We toured Juniper Village at Paramus. I was very pleased with what I saw. It was nice. It seemed to be a place with a lot of social activities where someone would be comfortable and engaged. That was my biggest thing about that place. I looked at a single-resident room, and it looked fine. It was a reasonable size. The physical condition of the facility was good. It was clean. They seemed to have a lot of different games during the day. They had physical therapy, too.

Juniper Village at Paramus was very welcoming and homey. The residents appeared very happy and engaged. The tour guide, Catherine, was very informative and very kind. It was a positive experience. Everything was very clean. I felt that the studio room was a little bit on the small side. It could only fit a twin bed, but it was very nice, clean, and appeared comfortable. They had a lot of activities. There's a full list of something to do every single day. While I was there, they were making cards. There was music playing. Everybody was kind of gathered in the community room. Everyone seemed engaged. It was extremely expensive though, for the level of care my mother would need.

My mother was a resident of Brookdale/Juniper, Paramus for approximately four years (2018-2022). I can honestly say we encountered virtually no problems or issues during that time period. I have nothing but positive things to say about the back office, the physical therapy department, the receptionists and of course the phenomenal caregivers and nurses in memory care (Wellspring). My mother was well taken care of and enjoyed interacting with the staff and other residents in Wellspring. In February 2022, my mother encountered a major health issue and subsequently passed away in April 2022. Everyone from the back office to the nursing staff and caregivers could not have been more caring and thoughtful. They really are an incredible bunch of people. Needless to say, I recommend Juniper Village of Paramus very highly.

Juniper Village at Paramus is gorgeous. The only thing is that they're just starting their renovations because they just got in there in February; I think they took over. It has all the hallways that go to God knows where; but the people there were so nice, I have to say that. We didn't see many of the residents when we were there. They were putting on a play called, Singing in the Rain. They've been so nice to me. They've talked to me like three or four times. I've been there twice or maybe three times. We like it, but the price is off the charts. The staff was just wonderful. They answered all the questions and were very patient. They accommodated this because I could only make it on a Sunday. They were doing the play, which was beautiful, and amazing. They came from where they were to meet me there because that's the only time my husband could go. They were very accommodating. There's nothing wrong there at all. It's just a little too big for my 94-year-old mother. It would be OK if you're 80 or 75, and you can get around a little better. My mother has no problems with her thinking or anything, but I could just see that the hole was just too much, like they were too empty. There are always people living there. We were shown so many rooms because obviously, people left, people died, unfortunately; they're looking for people. They gave my mother such a high level of care amount that she would need. When they came back, it was almost half price. They should give me the bottom line; I don't like playing games like that. I have to say, the people that I met, the big guy who runs the place, the top executive and his workers, Peter and Linda, were extremely nice. There's nothing wrong there, it's just too big and too high priced.

Juniper Village at Paramus was a beautiful facility. I loved the grounds. I loved the things that were offered. They had a walking path. The building itself was very nice. It was isolated; although it's on a busy road, you didn't observe the traffic. It was quiet and very nice. The only down thing that I found was the size of the rooms, and of course, the expense. It was very expensive. Financially it was out of my reach, but it was a lovely place. They had some rooms that were available if you wanted to have a meeting or a dinner with your family. They had meeting rooms set up. If your family came to visit and you just wanted someplace to converse, that room was available. The outdoors were beautiful. It was clean. The people that I didn't formally meet (but that were around) seemed very nice. The staff seemed very nice too. I got a very good impression from the Director of Admissions. She was a very, very nice woman. I liked her very much. It wasn't too large as far as the capacity of the residents.

Mom was at the point where she couldn't live by herself or manage her own affairs anymore. I selected Juniper Village Paramus for their assisted living, and I've been very happy with that choice. She immediately began receiving regular medical and psychological care, and they brought her depression and anxiety under control within a matter of weeks. The facility is bright and clean, and the management and staff are wonderful and responsive. While not huge, the rooms are adequately sized and some even have walk-in closets. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents occupied for most of the day, along with an on-site beauty salon. Mom is the happiest I've seen her in many years, thanks to Juniper.

My father currently resides in Juniper Village at Paramus. We chose it for him because it was close to my home, so it's convenient for me to visit him. When I walked in there, everybody was very welcoming, very kind, and caring. Everything you need is provided there. It's a secure and nice property, which makes it a good value for what my dad needs. Thus far, everything seems to have been taken care of. Any questions I had (whether to the dining room waitstaff or to the administration) were been answered relatively quickly. They've all been really wonderful. Their food is on the blander side because obviously with older folks, you can't do a lot of salt and many people have different health needs. It's still good. There's board games, a community living room where people come and chit chat, a property that you could walk around, and some stationary bicycles, treadmills, and such. The grounds are kept pristine, and everything is clean. It's really nice. It's better than many other places that I saw. It would certainly cost less, rather than keeping my father at home with a live in. It's a tremendous value in that respect.

My sister-in-law moved in last December. So far, it's going fine. They're taking very good care of her, and she needs a lot of care. She hasn't complained about the food and the staff. She's in assisted living, but she's got 24-hour nursing, and they handle all her medications. They give me feedback and let me know what's going on, so I'm very happy with the staff. I love the staff. I think they're terrific and very caring.

The staff is excellent, my mother enjoyed the food they provided. The people are really nice and the room they showed us was really clean, although we thought it would be bigger but it's small. The atmosphere was pleasant. We also saw their calendar of activities. They said they take the residents here and there, to doctor's visits since they have a van, to shop at the mall, they do laundry, and they have a beauty shop. They also have rehab if you pay extra.

I went to for my aunt, but she decided to stay in her apartment. My visit was fine, it was a very nice place, and the staff seemed to be very nice. The director was accommodating, and we saw some of the units. They were having bingo when we were there. They had games, transportation to stores and church, they had religious services, they had a beautician, and so they had quite a few amenities. I think the rooms could be a little larger and accommodating.

My dad is living in memory care. I liked this place better than the others because it was a little bigger and there was more room for my dad to really walk around. I feel that it's the best place for him. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They keep the people very entertained. Every day they're doing something like games, music, movies, trivia, and baking classes. I have not eaten anything there, but my dad really enjoys the food, and it looks very good.

We chose it because the location and the price are good. The place itself is very nice. Mom has a pretty big room with a bathroom and a walk-in closet. There's a sink, a microwave, and a fridge in the kitchen area. We were able to put in a table with two chairs and two big dressers.

It seemed very nice and clean. It was a little smaller in the common areas. The staff seemed very nice, very sweet, and very knowledgeable. The room was a little dark, but it seemed nice and clean. We saw the residents playing Bingo. The dining area was a little small but very nice. They had no Medicaid room so that turned us around.

It was nice; they just didn’t have a room for my dad. They have a 1-bedroom and studio where you can bring your own chairs and beds. In between patients, they paint and change the rugs every time. It looked very nice.

It is very nice and clean. The staff is pleasant and answers all my questions. The rooms are very nice, clean and large enough. I have not eaten there, but my father says the food is fine and he is happy with it. He is kind of picky, so if he say it's fine it is better than okay. They have big and open dining room like a family style restaurant. They have outings, bingo and exercises. They have choirs that comes in every once in a while. I like the size; it is comfortable and not too big. However, they can do more with the security.

It was a newer facility, but it was significantly more expensive. It was more modern. The staff was very accommodating. They called to follow up a few times to find out about what our decision has been.

The staff is very informative about the programs that they offer, and they also helped us with some VA benefits. The place itself is great. The rooms are very nice, very clean, freshly painted, and had new carpeting. My mother-in-law just moved in on the first of April. They have everything there in terms of activities for the people. She does bingo every day, and they do have transportation. I think they do a restaurant once a week, and they also do shopping. It seems to be very secure. There is always someone at the desk and someone who can lead you and show you around. No one is walking around by themselves. There is always a person who will take care of whatever. Right now, everything seems to be very good. She gets her medication and her meals right on time. We're really very happy so far.

My parents are currently here. We chose this because of its location and a family member has been in the facility. The staff are OK, but the issue was more of the food. Sometimes they run out of food and they don’t have what they are offering. They don’t have fresh fruit on a daily basis. With their rooms, we had issues with the carpeting stains. They came in to clean it, but it still is not good, and it smells. They do have activities like board games and walks. My parents haven’t made much comment on it. They have things that go on a daily basis.

The building was a hotel at one time and there were a lot more apartments. It was not as close knit group as the other but it has the same type of activities -- they take you to the doctor, for example. The rooms were small but the walk-in closets were bigger. There are shelves right outside each door where people can place flowers or pictures and I liked that. There was a kitchenette on each floor where you could use their oven or toaster. The staff was kind enough to take us around even though we didn't have an appointment.

It was beautiful. Everybody was very warm, welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very clean. The people there who helped me were Donna and Susan. Donna gave me the tour, and she was wonderful. Susan helped me out with different things with my father when he was in hospice care. They went above and beyond help. I went to see the place once before, so they did a follow up phone call. And then they made some suggestions to help me with hospice. They went out of their way to help me.

one of my friends grandfather used to live there.Once i got a chance to meet with them when i went to see them with my friend.I was amused to see the facilities they are providing to those people. The staff there was very hard working and caring.this facility is connected to the 24 hour internet so that the person living there can easily contact with their relatives.Although the look of the building is not that good but overall it is a very good facility to live.
