"I was very satisfied with the care at Park Crescent nursing and rehab in East Orange, NJ. Social services was also very responsible and kept my daughter in the loop constantly. This helped me find comfort and peace of mind knowing that my daughter understood and stayed on top of my care plan."

"It is very nice. It is an older facility, but kept well. People were friendly, and informative. I know they have the independent, assisted-living, and memory care too. I looked at the independent, and assisted-living part. The memory care is in a different building. They have a little store that the residents run. They have all kinds of arts, and crafts. They have an area where there are birds, and rabbits for the residents to care for. This facility has a homey atmosphere. "

"I have a family member living at the Dumont Center and have nothing but nice things to say about this place! The facility is very clean and modern looking and the staff are so friendly and caring. My family member loves to attend the concerts there and hang out on the balcony which has such a nice view. I can rest easy at night knowing that he is in good hands!"

"My grandmother stayed at Lincoln Park Renaissance and the medical/nursing care that she got received was above and beyond. The way the staff (CNA, Nurses, therapists...) cared for her during her 3 month stay as if it was their own family member. The food was really good, and any medical question/need was given its utmost attention. I would feel very comfortable sending my love one there again."

"South Mountain Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center has been great. They've been amazing. The staff has been very helpful in this journey, and they've made her stay very pleasant. She does like the food there. The facility is very nice and comfortable. They are very well taken care of, I would say. She's not in a position where she can use those facilities at this time. The staff has been great from the admissions to the social worker, to the physician assistant, the physician, and the nurses, they're all great."

"Sycamore Living is brand new. It just opened in the spring. It's on the small side, but I don't know how many residents they have, I think it's under 50. It's modern and clean. My mother's been there for 2-1/2 weeks now. The staff is very informative, and they've been calling and keeping us posted on how my mother's doing, so the communication is very good. I guess the food is fine; I haven't heard any complaints. I like it. It's very open. My mother's in a private room, but I would know better if I was able to visit her and I was walking in the hallway. I only had a tour of the facility, so it's hard to say. It just looked very nice. It was an office building that was reconfigured to make it into a nursing home or whatever you call these facilities. They have assisted living, long-term care, and rehab. It's a large building, and it's brand new."

"The people at Belair Nursing and Rehabilitation were very friendly, informative and cheerful. The place was very clean. It was just remodeled and new-looking. They seem to have all the necessary rehabilitation facilities for people that are just learning to walk again. They have big eating areas where they would walk them in, like a dining room. They actually have a library there. I liked the bedrooms, they were large. They can improve on the rehab room because it seemed like the physical therapist had a lot of people there at the same time. They seemed very busy. I'd recommend this facility to others. "

"The staff of Care One at Wellington were professional, courteous and interested from the first meeting with the Admissions Director, through the pre-admission meeting with the Nursing Director and one of the Social Workers. All three were determined to make my husband's respite care stay as close to the home care he has been experiencing for almost 3 years. Each took extensive notes on his typical day at home and offered suggestions and assistance that could ease the transition from home to facility for him (and me!). My husband’s dementia level is moderately severe but because he has strong legs he is mobile. He unfortunately suffers from paraphasia as part of his dementia deterioration so cannot easily communicate his own thoughts and wishes although he usually understands what is being said. Knowing he was temporarily moving from a quiet home to a busy facility, we all knew that transition might not be easy so they chose a room that was away from the nursing hub to somewhat minimize the typical noise level. The nursing staff and aides were warm and friendly to my husband so his 8-day stay at Wellington that allowed me to fly across the country to attend our grandson's wedding turned out well for both of us. One big surprise for me was that he participated in a musical marching parade one day with a large group of residents and staff! One never knows..... We are both grateful to all for the care and attention that he received during his stay."

"I WAS AN ORTHOPEDIC REHAB PATIENT AT THIS FACILITY TWICE FOR KNEE REPLACEMENTS... NOT ONLY WERE THE STAFF ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY BUT THE ACTUAL THERAPY ITSELF WAS GREAT... I HAD TO LEARN HOW TO WALK ALL OVER AGAIN BOTH TIMES I WAS THERE AND THE CARE AND TIME SPENT WITH ALL OF THE REHAB PATIENTS WAS INCREDIBLE... THE ONLY REASON I DIDN'T GIVE PROSPECT HEIGHTS 5 STARS IS THAT THE FACILITY ITSELF IS SHOWING SIGNS OF WEAR AND NEEDS SOME UPDATING... BEDS ALSO COULD USE REPLACING... "

"Regent Care Center has a nice lobby and set of elevators as you walk in. These elevators bring you to a surprisingly open-feeling level that my family member was staying on. The hall ways were buzzing with activity as nurses helped residents move about the floors if they were not able to on their own. After passing the large nurse's station we saw a community lounge where many people were visiting their grandparents and watching television on a fairly large t.v. I was surprised to see how many of the residents were out on their own socializing with other residents which made me feel relieved to hear laughter and small talk in a situation I would normally consider sad. We found my family member in her room where she was in the middle of refusing to eat the pasta she was served since it did not meet her high standards being from Italy. Other than the food, the only complaint she had was her lack of a garden which she normally tends to at her home. The nurses were very pleasant, seeming to have a great relationship with many of the residents. "
