"I really enjoyed having my grandmother at Hopkins center. The activities were so well planned, the nurses were very sweet and supportive! They even had a farmers market! I'm so happy I had my grandma came here. If my grandma would voluntarily eat veggies that would be very helpful. Open to suggestions on how to do that! We really appreciate all that was done for her!"

"I toured the Dumont Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. On every floor we were taken to, I didn't see any discrepancies. We were taken to the memory care division. It looked like it was a clean place, so I have no complaints. The staff member who gave the tour was not knowledgeable, but the person they claimed we were supposed to see had something else to do, so they put another person on to take us around. He was OK. If we had another person who normally does it, we'd get more information on him, but it wasn't bad. It was OK. It looked like a clean area. I didn't see anything wrong with the rooms they showed us and that we passed through, but I peeked, and they looked well-kept. They showed us different rooms. They showed us one-on-one, and then we saw two-on-two. I mean two people in a room, and we saw one person in the room. So it was OK."

"So far, I like the Dry Harbor Nursing Home. My mom has been there for almost 2 weeks now. I like the way they take care of things there. They are very, very nice people. My mom likes it more here than the one that she was at. They do physical therapy and they get all the stuff that the residents could do like crafts and things like that. They do the rapid test when you go in, that's the first thing they do. You also have to wear a mask, there are hand sanitizers, and they come into the residents' rooms to wipe it down a couple of times."

"My father is a patient at Ditmas Park, he has been treated well. The staff has been very understanding. During this time with COVID-19 there have been visitation restrictions and Ditmas Park made arrangements so I could FaceTime my father daily. The staff also know that I am very involved and call all the time for updates on my dad."

"My brother-in-law is now in Sands Point Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Right now, we're very, very happy with them. They show a lot of care. It's a very happy and caring staff. They have a complete monthly activity calendar that they use for anyone interested in joining any one of the activities. They have scrabble because he plays scrabble. It's a full calendar. The place is clean, neat, and well-maintained. They got a full staff all the time. The nursing stations are good; they're always manned. It's worth the money."

"My Mother-in-Law Amelia C. was a Resident for 4 years. We were SO Happy we chose PH for her. After 4 years in our home, a mini stroke and the onset of Alzheimer’s made our decision to find a place for her to get the care we could no longer provide. The Facility is Amazing. The cleanliness, food & accommodations are outstanding!! But their Staff was the Miracle we could have only hoped for. We never met a more catering, giving and loving group of people. We were there almost every day during those 4 years and had the pleasure of seeing their interactions With Emmy but with all of the residents on her floor and other floors. With so many Residents needing many different levels of need, all were Blessed to be in their care. If you are making the tough choice we had to make, rest assured this would be the best one you could make. The entire Staff remains always in Our Prayers. Knowing Emmy was in their Loving Care to the day she passed, gave us the peace we needed. Thank you to all of you! You were and will always be Emmy’s Angels. I know she is now yours. "My husband was in rehab at Christian Health Care Center. It was very good and very clean. The physical therapy staff and the gym were marvelous. It was fabulous. Everybody was friendly. Great food. The place was very nice. The PT was a wonderful place with all big windows around the whole place. Most people were very nice. I, myself, or one of my children were there every day. They never knew when we were coming and that was important because you could see what was happening. I never really went in there that I was horrified about anything."

"My husband is being discharged from CareOne at Wayne and is coming home. He was there for their rehab program. He's been in and out of that establishment at least four times. He was getting people walking with him, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, but my medical plans ran out of the amount of time that they had allotted for him to be there. Recently, they put up a canopy outside and let outdoor visits take place on an appointment only basis for a half hour. They've been very obliging. There's no specific person that's been taking care of my husband. He actually likes it there. I've never been inside. I know they have rooms where they join each other, but that's for the assisted living. They've kept in touch with me and I've done online sightseeing with the different people that are taking care of him. I don't really see the exercises going on, but he seems very happy with the people that do their job. It's quite expensive. It's a nice facility, but I was looking for something a little bit more off the highway. There's a lot of construction going on in that complex right now. It's quite hazardous around the outer perimeter right now because it's all being revamped, but that hasn't interfered with any of the visits that anybody has given him, and they are very strict about their half hour visits. He says they keep him clean, they wash him, and they shave him."
