"I did a tour of the Hopkins Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare. I like the staff; they were very helpful. The staff was very knowledgeable. I spoke with the social worker and followed up with him. I got a lot of information. The facility was very clean. They posted on the wall, a schedule for the month of activities."

"South Mountain Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center has been great. They've been amazing. The staff has been very helpful in this journey, and they've made her stay very pleasant. She does like the food there. The facility is very nice and comfortable. They are very well taken care of, I would say. She's not in a position where she can use those facilities at this time. The staff has been great from the admissions to the social worker, to the physician assistant, the physician, and the nurses, they're all great."

"The Best!!!!!!! They saved my life!!!! I cannot express enough gratitude to the Sands Point Team, for helping to save my life. I arrived on a stretcher and was able to leave, walking on my own. Rehab is the best. Nursing is wonderful. From the Director of Nursing, to the unit nurses, certified nursing assistants, Administrator, Guest Services, on and on. The facility is clean, the food is good and most importantly, the staff is caring. I highly recommend Sands Point Center to anyone and everyone. "

"Sycamore Living is brand new. It just opened in the spring. It's on the small side, but I don't know how many residents they have, I think it's under 50. It's modern and clean. My mother's been there for 2-1/2 weeks now. The staff is very informative, and they've been calling and keeping us posted on how my mother's doing, so the communication is very good. I guess the food is fine; I haven't heard any complaints. I like it. It's very open. My mother's in a private room, but I would know better if I was able to visit her and I was walking in the hallway. I only had a tour of the facility, so it's hard to say. It just looked very nice. It was an office building that was reconfigured to make it into a nursing home or whatever you call these facilities. They have assisted living, long-term care, and rehab. It's a large building, and it's brand new."

"Right now, my Father is in a nursing home in Ditmas Park Rehab Care Center. He's been there about 3 weeks now. We personally chose this nursing home. Anyway, it's only temporary. I must say the staff treats my father very good. He's well taken care of. It's a very clean facility and has a home-like feeling. It's nicely decorated. With regards to the food I must say he's eating properly. It's a very nice facility. They have a residents� sitting room wherein they have events going on every day. They have some entertainment and activities for the residents which is good. I will recommend them to others. "

"Dad has been at Woodcrest Health Care for about two weeks, and so far so good. The staff is fine and friendly, and they do call me when they are giving him a test or if there is a problem. He just doesn’t want to eat, and this has been going on for three months. He is always clean, and that’s the first thing I check when I visit a nursing home to make sure the place smelled OK. So far, I haven’t had an issue. The location is fine. My dad really can’t stand up, but they have like a special thing on where if he moves too much out of the chair, the alarm would go off. "

My mom has advanced Alzheimer's, and she can no longer care for herself, but I know that whatever she needs, she is not alone, but well taken care by very special people to whom I have entrusted the welfare and care of my precious mother. "Bergen Regional staff was very, very kind. The coordinator, Maribel, was very, very polite. We didn't have any problems or any issues. However, I wouldn't recommend them for respite care. Maybe for a long-term care, but not for respite care. This was more of a hospitalization facility. "

"The New Jersey Veterans Homes Paramus was very, very clean and very nice. The people were very friendly. The unit was clean, roomy, and nice-sized. The staff member was a very nice lady. She was very helpful and very informative. They have music, bingo, and shows where people come in to entertain."

"I am both a nephew and my aunt's POA. After an exhausting search we settled on CareOne. They are a fine facility. Upper management is reachable and will take the time to discuss any issues which may occur. They are always quick to resolve any of your concerns. The aids are polite and professional. You do have to understand this is not an assisted living facility and the patient to staff ratio tends to be higher because of it. They accept Medicaid and they have undergone several projects to upgrade the interior appearance of the facility (not that it was in bad shape when my aunt first arrived in January of 2017). I would recommend this facility without hesitation."

"My mom rehabbed at Maywood after a hip replacement. The staff is caring and friendly. The center is bright and airy and has no bad smells like other nursing centers. The rooms were large and clean. The physical therapy department got my mom back to where she was before her fall. I truly appreciate all the love and support for my mom and myself. I highly recommend Maywood Center."

"I WAS AN ORTHOPEDIC REHAB PATIENT AT THIS FACILITY TWICE FOR KNEE REPLACEMENTS... NOT ONLY WERE THE STAFF ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY BUT THE ACTUAL THERAPY ITSELF WAS GREAT... I HAD TO LEARN HOW TO WALK ALL OVER AGAIN BOTH TIMES I WAS THERE AND THE CARE AND TIME SPENT WITH ALL OF THE REHAB PATIENTS WAS INCREDIBLE... THE ONLY REASON I DIDN'T GIVE PROSPECT HEIGHTS 5 STARS IS THAT THE FACILITY ITSELF IS SHOWING SIGNS OF WEAR AND NEEDS SOME UPDATING... BEDS ALSO COULD USE REPLACING... "
