"I chose Arden Courts because my husband can walk 24 hours a day if he chooses. They are there, very kind, and have a lot of activities, like playing ball and miniature golf. There’s quite a few men there, too. I know it probably doesn’t make any difference because they don’t speak that much, but I thought that was good. I’m just happy with everybody there. They have several nurses and someone is always there to answer questions. It’s very sunny and bright, and the food seems good because he’s eating every single thing that he gets. The recreation ladies are coming up with new ideas and are very kind to everybody. They take them outside and can go out whenever they like; they can just put their jackets on and go out. It’s built into a mountain and very high walls around it, so they can’t escape. The road is right there, and he has a window to look outside and see the cars and trucks going by. He’s interested in trucks; that’s his thing. They play ball, watch movies, and have a popcorn machine like the old fashioned ones at a circus. Actually, I have several clothing groups for the ladies, and some men, where they come and sit and hold fabric. Another man comes and helps them with golf, and the spouses seem to volunteer to do things also. It’s small but very nice. "
