"Mira Vie at Clifton is a fairly new place. It's got assisted living and memory care, but I was there primarily dealing with memory care. The place is new. It had a very attractive modern look. I had one person who went with me and she was excellent. She knew what she was talking about and I thought she presented the facility in a very honest and useful manner. The dining area looks attractive, but I didn't eat anything there. I visited there in the afternoon. People were interacting with each other, but I didn't see anything formal going on. I liked the facility. It was perfectly clean."

"Sunrise of West Essex was beautiful. It was a little smaller, but it was very pretty. The staff, as soon as you walked in, was very nice and welcoming to me. What I did like was that they had different stations for a memory care patient to interact with. They had a section where you could learn to use a typewriter or you could learn to take care of babies. It felt good to know that they were able to keep them busy. They separated the nonmobile to some of the memory care patients who were further along. Right now where my mom is, they only have one or two nurses, so they spend so much time with the people who are not mobile. I like that they separated them a little bit so everybody got the care they needed. It was very quaint. They had a nice courtyard. It's a little quieter."

"I am so grateful to Sunrise of Summit and the team. Mom and I researched many places and Summit Sunrise felt most like home. Mom is very independent , creative, fun and an amazing artist and oftentimes shy to display her work. Sunrise created an art show featuring mom and other resident artists. The champagne event was well attended and was a huge boost to Mom who is looking forward to the next opportunity to display her work and collaborate with like minded residents. Mom has blossomed socially and smiling all the time Prior to Sunrise, Mom lived alone and then with me and especially with COVID, was feeling understandably very isolated. I could have never imagined how important it was to be with a community of peers and social opportunities. Because the community is new, her apartment is modern and chic-just like Mom. The staff maintains her room and does laundry etc which Mom loves (I did not think she would). I can’t thank the staff and community enough for creating such a wonderful environment for Mom Mom has her tribe!"

"Sunrise of Westfield was very nice, but the pricing structure is just way too high. I like the staff there. It was a great group of people, outgoing, and very attentive to the residents. The rooms were very nice."

"I like that Brookdale Florham Park was clean and that it had activities. We like it. We also liked that it was close to my mother-in-law's house. They have a microwave and a refrigerator in the units. The person who took me around was very nice. She was very good. They also had a courtyard outside."

"While looking for options of senior citizens assistance for my parents I got to Livia. Customer agent via web chat was kind and helpful in providing answers to my queries. As son of senior/ederly parents I want to provide them a wonderful and more enjoyable life for the rest of the time that GOD may have planned for them. Customer agent was very attentive, so I hope the rest of the personnel is as good as him or even better. That would provide a sense of trust and confidence that your love ones will be in good hands."

"I toured Brighton Gardens of Florham Park. The people are very friendly. They have experienced staff on hand who take care of the people there. It was very clean and modern. It was exceptional in many ways. I wish my home were as good as Brighton Gardens. The staff was very accommodating, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The size of the rooms was good for a single person. It's enough to make you feel at home. The dining area was nice. It was restaurant-style."

"I visited Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. They were wonderful there. I very much enjoyed the visit, and I would recommend that facility to anybody looking for a place. I like the friendliness of the staff; they were just outstanding. And the facility itself was clean. The food looked like it was a great availability to the residents there. As far as the activities are concerned, they're nice, but my mother wouldn't be participating in much of that. Although, what they have available was very, very nice."

"My aunt is at Atria Cranford. She has been there for six weeks now. She is still adjusting, but Atria is great. The room is fine. The staff is attentive, and the food seems great. They're trying to decide whether she needs assisted living or memory care, so she's in evaluation right now."

"I toured Harbour View Senior Living. The rooms are big enough, and everything is comfortable. Also, I got the opportunity because everything is included, including the meals, medical attention in case some emergency shows up, and nursing service in case I need it. A parking lot is also included. I can park my car anywhere because there are a lot of areas to park my car, so it's very convenient for me. There is a social room where people can meet and make a program. The price is not very cheap, but it's correct because everything is included. The people were very kind and nice."

After searching for a few months, no other options compared to what Delaney had to offer. The apartments are beautiful and quite spacious. My mom relocated from Florida back to NJ after our dad passed. The staff and residents couldn't have been more welcoming, making her feel like family right from the start. The attentive staff at Delaney has truly exceeded expectations, providing excellent care and assistance—from organizing fun activities and social events to their support with doctors' appointments. She has been living there for five months and calls it home! I couldn't be happier for my mother."
