The aides encouraged me and helped me back to walking. The entire staff was friendly. They nursed me back to health. The activities are excellent and the food is quite good. "

"Sunrise of Old Tappan was lovely. It has a home-like setting. We loved how you could sit outside. We liked how they had a separate area for the dementia unit, but then they also co-mingle them with certain activities. We thought it was great. The only thing was, the rooms were a little small, like the studio and the companion suite. But other than that, we loved it. The woman couldn't have been friendlier and nicer. Everything seemed lovely, and I'm sure my father would be happy there."

"The Allendale Community was very nice. I visited this place. They did a nice job. The reason for the visit was that I was thinking about it in the future for me and my wife. The facility was very nice. It is in a nice area. The guy introduced us to them, and he explained things to us. I would recommend this place to others. "

"We toured Thrive at Montvale. We liked the amenities, and we liked the fact that it was very new and very fresh. It was very nice. The staff was great, and we enjoyed the tour. We liked their meal plan and the size of the facility. It was not too big and not too small. We liked the fact that they could move from independent to assisted living if they needed to. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and they wanted to get to know my parents, which was good. The cleanliness was great. We liked the courtyard quite a bit. They had a garden room and a giant LEGO area for families to play in, and they had water features, but the units were a little bit on the small side. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we liked the setup, the layout, and the spaces."

The place is very clean and well kept. It kinda has a Disney theme to it. It's nicely taken care of and very sanitary and very pretty. My mom is has an apartment there and she loves it. "Mira Vie at Clifton is a fairly new place. It's got assisted living and memory care, but I was there primarily dealing with memory care. The place is new. It had a very attractive modern look. I had one person who went with me and she was excellent. She knew what she was talking about and I thought she presented the facility in a very honest and useful manner. The dining area looks attractive, but I didn't eat anything there. I visited there in the afternoon. People were interacting with each other, but I didn't see anything formal going on. I liked the facility. It was perfectly clean."

"I didn't see anybody there at Sunrise of Franklin Lakes. It is fairly new. It only opened recently. I just met the one employee, and she was very nice. I didn't really see much there. The room was a larger type of a room. It was larger than most of the rooms. It was set up very nicely, but I didn't see any residents or any other staff. The dining area looked beautiful, but I didn't see any menus. They have different seating areas where you can sit and talk, and they offered like a cafe for the residents where they can go and get something to eat at any time of the day. It's a brand-new place. It's beautiful and decorated gorgeously."

"Sunrise of Wayne was a very nice and clean place. Everything was very well kept, but the residents' rooms were half the size compared to the other ones I'd seen. The staff who assisted me with the tour was well-informed and was able to answer my questions. I saw that they provided physical therapy for the residents. They also seemed to have a lot of staff."
