"I moved my mother to their assisted living. I am impressed with the care that they give and the amount of staff. It is a nice and pretty environment. They staff has a positive, friendly attitude. She has a single room that is a lot larger than any of the other places that I visited. They have a good of selection of quality food, and the dining room is attractive. They have religious services, holiday parties, bingo, exercise activities, current events, classes, meetings, and arts & crafts. They can improve on reminding people of the activities. They have a calendar, but people have a hard time following it. Aside from that, I think it is as good as it is going to be for her. "

"I have a family member living at the Dumont Center and have nothing but nice things to say about this place! The facility is very clean and modern looking and the staff are so friendly and caring. My family member loves to attend the concerts there and hang out on the balcony which has such a nice view. I can rest easy at night knowing that he is in good hands!"

"South Mountain Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center has been great. They've been amazing. The staff has been very helpful in this journey, and they've made her stay very pleasant. She does like the food there. The facility is very nice and comfortable. They are very well taken care of, I would say. She's not in a position where she can use those facilities at this time. The staff has been great from the admissions to the social worker, to the physician assistant, the physician, and the nurses, they're all great."

"My mother is in Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing. It's excellent. I'm very happy with them. It's very clean. The staff is awesome. They take very good care of my mother, who is hard to take care of. They're always friendly and always smiling. They have little concerts, they play games, they have art classes, and Zumba. It's very active. There are a few things every day. My mother said the food is very good. The choices are good, and it tastes good."

"Sands Point has been taking care of my dad for many years. Nursing is the best and they always keep me posted on anything that is going on with him and the facility. He prefers to do his own thing, but recreation helps him with anything he needs. The director of nursing and the administrator, as well as everyone else there, is always available to answer my questions. Thank you to Stuart who always helps me with communication, when I'm not able to get there myself. The place is clean with is also very nice. "

"Sycamore Living is brand new. It just opened in the spring. It's on the small side, but I don't know how many residents they have, I think it's under 50. It's modern and clean. My mother's been there for 2-1/2 weeks now. The staff is very informative, and they've been calling and keeping us posted on how my mother's doing, so the communication is very good. I guess the food is fine; I haven't heard any complaints. I like it. It's very open. My mother's in a private room, but I would know better if I was able to visit her and I was walking in the hallway. I only had a tour of the facility, so it's hard to say. It just looked very nice. It was an office building that was reconfigured to make it into a nursing home or whatever you call these facilities. They have assisted living, long-term care, and rehab. It's a large building, and it's brand new."

My Mother came to Meadowbrook at a time when she needed extra help with care. As her needs increased, the supervisor, Michael (Mike), and his staff were very attentive, compassionate, and always seemed to have a sense of humor. "The rooms are very nice,Laurel Bay is a wonderful place to live it is very homey. I,ve been living here since 1998 and if you have to live in a nursing home Laurel Bay is where you should stay whether it’s short term or long term it’s all just like one big happy family. Everybody is a part of the family. We do all kinds of activities including great parties and wonderful live entertainment. It’s one big family we all take care of each other. Administration and staff are always there for you. Laurel Bay is a very welcoming place. M. "The people at Belair Nursing and Rehabilitation were very friendly, informative and cheerful. The place was very clean. It was just remodeled and new-looking. They seem to have all the necessary rehabilitation facilities for people that are just learning to walk again. They have big eating areas where they would walk them in, like a dining room. They actually have a library there. I liked the bedrooms, they were large. They can improve on the rehab room because it seemed like the physical therapist had a lot of people there at the same time. They seemed very busy. I'd recommend this facility to others. "

"My first impression of this place is that it is very small, just two stories. It is located in a good neighborhood since it sits on a road with great views of the NYC skyline. The lobby is clean. The staff is cordial but there could be some improvement here and there. Another thing is that there is urine smells. From my experiences with the food that they serve is that it is not the greatest. The bathrooms of this facility need a more general cleaning than what is currently given. The staff, in my opinion, needs more training in care and compassion and deserve a higher salary as an incentive to be nice. By doing that, hopefully the residents will have a dignified quality of life in the last years of their life. This place is centrally located and with these improvements it has the potential of earning a 5 star review from me. "

"My wife is now at Harborage. They're taking care of her. She fell and she had surgery in her shoulder. I cannot go and visit her; I cannot see her. I believe two persons were positive on the COVID, and now things are getting very strict to get in there. All I get is a call, and so far I don't have much on what's going on. So far, when we talk, they're pretty good, but I don't know how things are. If I can go over there I can only come to the main entrance, but from there I can't do anything also. Everything looks nice and clean. When they talk to me they're very nice. There was a Colombian lady that was talking to me yesterday and she was very polite. She was talking to me about how my wife was doing and how she was feeling."
