"The facilities were very nice and updated. The outside was also nice, but more parking is definitely needed. The staff were generally nice, but some were not as knowledgable as they should have been about my grandma's condition. The amenities were nice, there was even a hair salon on the 2nd floor where residents can get their hair done. The eating area was also updated and bright and cheery. Overall, a very nice facility! "We went to Dumont Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. It was very good. Very nice. The space is pretty big, and there are a lot of people helping. It's very active, and it's very well organized. I couldn't go inside the rooms, but I saw them from the hallway because they are preventing people from getting sick from COVID, so I'm not allowed to go in. But it was pretty big, nice, and well-decorated. The beds are pretty nice. It's very nice inside. They had the therapy section. It's pretty big and very nice. They are giving therapy to everybody, not just to one person. They work together. I see a lot of good things about the communication between them. I saw that they work well. It's very clean, too."

"What can I say about the Meadowbrook Care Center they are phenomenal my husband was brought here it has to be in the hospital fighting liver cancer they also compassionate take care of the residence here food is amazing my husband cannot compliments about how good the food is. The nurses the Aides that take care of the individuals are amazing especially Ms White and Ms Smith and ms.Laurent . These ladies have such compassion for my husband that words cannot express the gratitude that they have I would like for them to be recognized for their outstanding job that they do I highly recommend Meadowbrook Care Center. "I put my father in Sands Point Center. The staff is very good; they are very caring and attentive. I didn't taste any of the food, but it smells good. It is very clean, and there are lots of activities. Justin came in the other day to perform, they have pet visits from their pet therapy, and they have Bingo and different kinds of luncheon, Wii, trivia, and contests. I am very happy. "

"This community was alright. They both had independent living and an assisted living facilities. I didn't like the apartment, they need to improve on the layout of the rooms. "

"I went to Belair Care Center after a total knee replacement. I couldn't have been happier with my stay there! The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and gives you a warm feeling. They have a little restaurant you can go to for lunch (that has a beautiful outside patio). I played bingo, did art therapy and even got visited by their therapy dog, Chloe. I give physical therapy an A+! "

"While looking for options of senior citizens assistance for my parents I got to Livia. Customer agent via web chat was kind and helpful in providing answers to my queries. As son of senior/ederly parents I want to provide them a wonderful and more enjoyable life for the rest of the time that GOD may have planned for them. "Nursing facilities are pretty depressing places, so I was never expecting to see something grand and amazing. However, this place - especially in comparison to other places in the Brooklyn/Queens area - is pretty nice. I felt that there could have been a few more activities and enrichment sorts of things, but other than that it was a nice place. There were lots of animals (two aquariums, a retired racing greyhound, and two aviaries of zebra society finches), which my grandmother really enjoyed (she loved animals). I wish she could have been on less medication...I feel like the amount that she was on only made her sicker and thusly increased the need for more meds, but that is more of an issue of modern medicine than an issue relating to the actual facility. "
