"I am a current temporary resident of this facility because I had a total knee replacement done. So I came here seeking PT and OT treatment and also regular treatment while I was healing. This is such a nice place with wonderful care and you can tell that the workers are sincerely concerned with making sure you are comfortable and cared for. It is clean and I love love the nurses aides are always there for me. So I couldn’t recommend this high enough!!!!"

"I have to share how I feel about the Dumont Center for Rehabilitation. The place is beautiful and comfortable to visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful with all our needs. Starting with Executive Administrator all the way to the hospitality staff, they’re 5 star. My mother has been a resident for five months, on the third floor unit, and the improvement in her is night & day. She was unsure about staying, but now she is one of the staff as she walks around making others feel at home. I can go on forever with my gratitude, but I’ll stop. I just have to thank you, Dumont Center, for giving my family and I the confidence to place our loving mother in your care. For ever grateful!"

"I put my father in Sands Point Center. The staff is very good; they are very caring and attentive. I didn't taste any of the food, but it smells good. It is very clean, and there are lots of activities. Justin came in the other day to perform, they have pet visits from their pet therapy, and they have Bingo and different kinds of luncheon, Wii, trivia, and contests. I am very happy. "

"This community was alright. They both had independent living and an assisted living facilities. I didn't like the apartment, they need to improve on the layout of the rooms. "

"We visited Brighton Gardens of Edison and toured their assisted living. I liked the person who welcomed us and answered questions. The assisted living rooms were nice and roomy, too, but I wasn't as comfortable with the memory care section for my loved one. They also had a subacute unit attached for rehab, so having that there was excellent. I think that some of the common areas were a little more crowded or smaller, and not as roomy as we'd like to see."

"I went to Belair Care Center after a total knee replacement. I couldn't have been happier with my stay there! The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and gives you a warm feeling. They have a little restaurant you can go to for lunch (that has a beautiful outside patio). I played bingo, did art therapy and even got visited by their therapy dog, Chloe. I give physical therapy an A+! "

"LIVIA Health & Senior Living was very nice, but it's bigger, and we were looking for a smaller place for my father. I think it's always nicer to be in a smaller facility. It would have been very convenient for us. We toured their nursing facility, and as we went inside, everything was nice and clean. It's a beautiful place, too. They have activities and physical therapy. They also have a dining room."

"Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing has been an absolute pleasure. The staff is kind and genuinely cares for their patients. The nursing staff is very attentive, well trained, and provides great care. I appreciate all they do and I'm confident that the residents are in great hands."

"My mum was at this facility for six weeks. We found the staff caring, devoted and very kind. Everyone willing to go above and beyond. My mum was treated with respect and sincere kindness. The administration and senior staff communicate well with us. Keeping us informed on everything we needed to know. The nursing staff at Careone parsippany helped made a difficult time much more easier. The facility is very clean, large and spacious room. Care is top notch "

"Nursing facilities are pretty depressing places, so I was never expecting to see something grand and amazing. However, this place - especially in comparison to other places in the Brooklyn/Queens area - is pretty nice. I felt that there could have been a few more activities and enrichment sorts of things, but other than that it was a nice place. There were lots of animals (two aquariums, a retired racing greyhound, and two aviaries of zebra society finches), which my grandmother really enjoyed (she loved animals). I wish she could have been on less medication...I feel like the amount that she was on only made her sicker and thusly increased the need for more meds, but that is more of an issue of modern medicine than an issue relating to the actual facility. "

"A few months ago, I went to the hospital for surgery and decided that Ditmas Park Care Center would be my choice for my post-procedure rehab. The rehab program that the therapists customized for me is enjoyable yet thorough. I'm always motivated to get to my sessions on time because all of the therapists make my day! While we are working together, I always feel ambitious about meeting my personal rehab goals designed for me by my therapists. I am looking forward to walking unassisted again so I can continue doing the things that I love most such as visiting the local senior center, walking my Pomeranian named ”Sugar", and even visiting my favorite casino! I have recently progressed to using a walker, and I am getting closer and closer to achieving my objective.
