My first impression of this place is that it is very small, just two stories. It is located in a good neighborhood since it sits on a road with great views of the NYC skyline. The lobby is clean. The staff is cordial but there could be some improvement here and there. Another thing is that there is urine smells. From my experiences with the food that they serve is that it is not the greatest. The bathrooms of this facility need a more general cleaning than what is currently given. The staff, in my opinion, needs more training in care and compassion and deserve a higher salary as an incentive to be nice. By doing that, hopefully the residents will have a dignified quality of life in the last years of their life. This place is centrally located and with these improvements it has the potential of earning a 5 star review from me.
