"My mom is there now and she is doing well they are very attentive to her needs , sometimes it takes a while to get to her because they are short staffed , but as far as I can see they are good to her . We are there everyday and all of her needs are met. Try walking in their shoes before you judge how people are . They have to toilet these patients and sometimes feed them, it’s not an easy job "

"My Mother Luisa Y. was there a few times in the rehab section and was cared for to get her up on her feet after a hip replacement. The rooms a beautiful like being in a hotel, interaction with the entire staff very professional in caring for their patients. At 101 years old my mother was unable to join in the various activities but was cared for in relearning how to walk again with the help of staff and a walker. After my mother left this facility and went home she continued to walk and spoke about the staff here right up to the day she past away at the age of 105 Years old. If the day comes where I need to go to a rehab I will come here. My sincere thanks to the entire staff and doctors for caring for my Mother over the years, God Bless you all."

"Our sister Padma S. was admitted to Parker Jewish institute after having a stroke about more than a year ago. She is getting efficient, professional and genuine care from the entire staff. This place is a home away from home for her. We would like to thank the entire staff for doing an excellent job with our sister. While we are pleased with the care she has received, last week, Parker Jewish administration arranged a remarkable drive-by visit by families to meet their loved-ones finally under the difficult Covid situation. The best part was that we saw our sister in the wheelchair with her favorite Kathleen K., Director- Therapeutic Recreation. We felt very good seeing our sister after more than 3-months. This was a kind gesture on the part of Parker Jewish admin and we greatly appreciate it. In the process of her rehab and medical care, we need special mention of one very caring person that is Ms. Sujata S., Public Affairs Associate, representative - Parker’s Indian Cultural Unit on the 4th floor. As a family, we found Sujata a high-quality professional, providing her services to our sister and the other Indian residents on the floor. Her caring nature and genuine desire to help patients and family members was outstanding and therefore she earned our trust in a short amount of time. Through these difficult times, she has communicated very well with our family of 3-brothers and their spouses. Along with Padma, she treated us also with empathy, understanding and respect. We wish to thank her for all her help to us and we are sure she is making a difference in patient care at Parker Jewish Institute.

"My heart is filled with nothing but gratitude for this facility. My mother had a stroke and she came to this nursing home half dead. She could not talk, walk, eat, sit or stand. With the help from A to Z department, my mother is walking with a cane, eating normal food and talking. staff is so caring and compassionate. Facility is very clean, organized and with plenty of supply. Food is great. suggestion for the owner- widen the circle in the front entrance to make a more accessible and easier entrance which will also enhance the beauty of this building. "

"My husband’s mother is currently in New Glen Oaks Nursing Home. The staff has been very good. You can go basically any time you want; they just ask that you come after 10:00 a.m., but if you really wanted to go in before that, you could. They have been very responsive. She is very ill right now and getting palliative care. It is an old facility, nothing fancy, but it is close to home, and we’ve been happy with the care that she has received. They have day activities and a recreation room. "
