"My husband is moving out of Ditmas Park Care Center today; he's done with his rehab. He's been there since March of this year. We're very pleased that he's doing much better than when he came in. So far, it's been positive. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, and they were concerned about everyone. They're doing renovations, so the facility is beautiful. He has a very large room. They have a dialysis center, and they said they're also going to have a pediatric rehabilitation center. We like the size of his room, it's sunny, and it's bright. It's also very clean. They took care of my husband every day. Some places, unfortunately, have an aroma all the time, but Ditmas does not have that."

"The Best! I've had more than my share of hospitals and recovery, and Belair is exceptional. The patient is provided with loving care 24/7. The physical therapy is compassionate and aware of the pain of their patients. They work well even with those who flat out refuse to do the exercise that will relieve their pain and make them whole. This is my second stay at Belair so you can give them ten stars from me. ( highly recommend them. "

"South Mountain Rehab is nice, and I think the staff is nice and very concerned. They have patience with the family. They are nice and do the rehabilitation for their client. They try to have fun with them. So, I find them good. I wish my mother could stay there. The rooms are nice. It is two patients to a room. The facility is very nice too. They have different activities for them. They have people from the outside come in. They have different amusement forms. They sing. They have gospel and churches. They also do things outside, but maybe they can do a little more outside activities. "

"My mother is in Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing. It's excellent. I'm very happy with them. It's very clean. The staff is awesome. They take very good care of my mother, who is hard to take care of. They're always friendly and always smiling. They have little concerts, they play games, they have art classes, and Zumba. It's very active. There are a few things every day. My mother said the food is very good. The choices are good, and it tastes good."

"My elderly parent went here for rehab after falling last year. It was cleaner than the other rehabs I inspected. The aides were all very warm and caring towards my parent. The furnishings are very old fashioned in the rooms and TVs could use an upgrade as the one in his room did not work a lot. The food was okay. The activities were sufficient. Some things were stolen from his room while he slept and the administrators and security did nothing to find the perpetrator despite the ability to view security. Very unnerving that the elderly were vulnerable in their own rooms. The rehab, however, was excelleant. "

"My husband suffered a debilitating stroke several months ago and wound up in NYU hospital in New York. Because he is relatively young (67), i was very fearful about the prospect of a quick recovery for him post discharge from the hospital. We live in Queens and I did extensive research on top stroke rehabilitation centers in Queens, New York and was amazed to find that though there are programs in place to begin stroke rehab from the hospital, there are very few options for post-acute stroke rehab in the area of new york, unless you are willing to be an outpatient. I was ambivalent about this because I didn't think I'd be able to equip the apartment (and myself) to be able to handle his needs so soon after his hospitalization. Then I found information on The Walter Strauss Stroke Center located at the Grand Rehab at Queens. I met with their team prior to my husbands discharge and was impressed with what I heard and hoped that as an in-patient with 24 skilled nursing care, on top of the stroke rehab, that he'd be able to regain core functioning and abilities. Dr. Weissman, who is their clinical director, took an interest in his case from the beginning and this was very reassuring for me and our only daughter. My husband made steady progress at the walter strauss stroke center and we were very pleased with the therapy and the care. There were minor issues here and there which were quickly ameliorated through open communication and dialogue with his doctors and nurses. The staff was great! All in all, I highly recommend this stroke center in queens ny, for recovering patients post hospitalization and prior to home."

"The fact that this facility has a parking lot is why I chose it and I'm glad I did. My dad wasn't walking to no avail, the nursing and therapy staff would simply not give up they treated him like family and ultimately he participated in rehabilitation on a daily basis, my dad left the facility using a walker, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart is simply not enough! "Sapphire management, nurses and nurses assistants work closely together to provide excellent care for the patients. In addition there is a recreation group that provide activities and entertainment and theu are very friendly. The facilities are kept clean. The facility is located in a central point in Queens with easy access. The security staff do a great job. Overall this is a great place to have family stay when they need special care."
