"I put my father in Sands Point Center. The staff is very good; they are very caring and attentive. I didn't taste any of the food, but it smells good. It is very clean, and there are lots of activities. Justin came in the other day to perform, they have pet visits from their pet therapy, and they have Bingo and different kinds of luncheon, Wii, trivia, and contests. I am very happy. "

"The staff was very friendly and actually knew what was going on with the patients in their care. They always make sure that medications are dispensed on time and accurately, and they are very patient with the patients. They always are constantly checking in on the patients, and communicate very well with family members. The building, at the time was very old, but it was clean and organized. The food looked like it was very good and my grandmother said it was much better than most. Also it is nice to see the same staff members there for a long time which to me means that they like what they are doing, rather than treat it like a job that just pays the bills. When I walked through the building I always got a nice smile from everyone I came in contact with. Also it looked like their equipment was up to date and pretty new. The building has since been removed and they built a new complex that is about 10 times the size. "

"I have to share how I feel about the Dumont Center for Rehabilitation. The place is beautiful and comfortable to visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful with all our needs. Starting with Executive Administrator all the way to the hospitality staff, they’re 5 star. My mother has been a resident for five months, on the third floor unit, and the improvement in her is night & day. She was unsure about staying, but now she is one of the staff as she walks around making others feel at home. I can go on forever with my gratitude, but I’ll stop. I just have to thank you, Dumont Center, for giving my family and I the confidence to place our loving mother in your care. For ever grateful!"

"I chose to come to Laurel Bay because I find comfort here. All departments including nursing, recreation, dietary, and housekeeping all do a great job. I enjoy eating the food served at Laurel Bay. I enjoy pet therapy, listening to music, special events, and socializing with my friends. "

"This community was alright. They both had independent living and an assisted living facilities. I didn't like the apartment, they need to improve on the layout of the rooms. "

"This a beautifully newly renovated facility. From the moment I walked in everyone was smiling and so kind. There was an art show going on at the time and all of the staff were the judges and they were picking out their favorite piece of artwork that the residents created. It was extremely heart warming to see how proud the residents were of their artwork! I told the woman giving the tour of the facility that I was so impressed with Highland Care Center that I had to write a review!!! "

"I don't like The Silvercrest Center For Nursing And Rehabilitation. I don't like the location and the building. It didn't seem safe, and it wasn't clean. The staff was very attentive, though. She gave us a tour. This structure was old. There was a smell of people not being changed, and this was in the middle of the day, and they knew we were coming. They had private rooms, and other rooms that may have two or three residents in them. They were small, and they weren't patient-friendly."

"Thanking Hanna in admissions (the navigator) and Lianah, Social services Dir. as to all staff. They do a tremendous job, caring, thoughtful and helpful. The facility is super clean, the food is great. From the time you enter the facility your greeted warmly at the front desk, the Doctors and nurses keep you updated regularly, my family member was always clean and well groomed, as well as, the rooms and outside areas. My brother received both Covid shots while there. Overall, a place of very high standards. Thank you, God Bless everyone at Margret Tiez. Cecil Pitts."

"The home has plenty of things to do for their residences to keep them active and engaged. They have musicians come in to play music, plenty of games for them to play and have various activities going on weekly. Their staff was very friendly and attentative. There was plenty of aids around to help any of the residents who needed it as well as to make sure everyone was safe and accounted for. The residents even have access to computers and can be assisted with writing emails to loved ones etc. The only main issue I saw with the facility was that there was a few problem residents and/or of lower cognitive function which interrupted some of the events for the other residents. Overall it seems like the residents are well cared for and compared to other nursing homes are treated better. This does not appear to be a place you just put people in to die. "

"My sister is at the Hillside Manor for rehab. She's usually in the dayroom with other people watching TV. They give her, her medications as scheduled many times a day. Her room is private and it's very clean, but it wasn't as new or great like the others. The staff members seem to do their job. The social worker invited me to a progress meeting where they described what my sister was doing. It's not a new facility, but it's clean. Hillside Avenue is a very busy area and is city like, and there's just a parking lot in front of the building. The residents there are not supposed to be in the room by themselves, so they're outside in the hallway in their wheelchairs."

"Trump Pavilion is nice and clean, and the building is not that old. The staff is good and doing the best they can because all of these places are understaffed. There is not much entertainment for them because the residents are in rehab. On Saturday, they have bingo. "

"The facility is clean and has a soothing environment for those residing there. My mother has been a resident there 4 years, all health care providers at Hillside Manor are caring with compassion for all their residents. My mother receives visits from a family member every day or every other day. Our visits vary in the time of day, and never have we witness any resident being mis treated, or unattended. They take extra care in providing entertainment and trips for the residents that help them maintain a good quality of life. The doctors, nurses, CNA's seem to be happy working there, and when the employees are happy, you will have happy residents. I can't say enough about the wonderful care and treatment our mother receives. If she isn't well or a health issue develops, the doctor or nurse will phone us to let us know what course of treatment will take place and to get our approval before going forward.
