My husband was in Hempstead Park Nursing Home, which I wouldn't recommend to my dog. I told the supervisor their social worker should not have a social worker job there. I got my husband out of there as soon as I could. He was there for a month. The care staff was bad. The food was horrible. There were no activities. They just left them lying in their beds. They could pay more attention to each individual patient, not treating them like they were dying and waiting to die. There was no interaction. They treated them like they just wanted their money.
