"This is a small skilled nursing facility tucked into a residential neighborhood. The grounds are quaint, but there's not much parking. The rooms were clean and are semi-private. I didn't see too many patients out in the hallways and the ones I saw looked clean; I didn't detect any odors. The menu included typical hospital fare and I don't think the food is made from scratch. The lobby was recently remodeled as were the grounds so that patients can use them for rehab. The staff I encountered were friendly. "

"My mom is a resident there, and has been taken care of very well. We tried two other facilities near by that either made too many mistakes, or didn't move fast enough to ward off infections that later turned into emergency room trips. This place has been very sensitive to my mom's specific needs and were quick and professional in working with myself and other family members to keep my mom healthy and happy. The smaller facility allows for more one on one time with the cna's, lvn's and rn's. Overall a good choice for a snf "

"The Upland Rehabilitation and Care Center was very spacious. I believe they have over 200 beds, so they have about three nursing stations. The tour was very nice. They mostly have shared rooms. They greet you courteously. They have a clean lobby. What I like about it is that they have an outside patio where families can sit, have lunch with the patients, and enjoy themselves. They have a rose bush and a nice water fountain to make the environment soothing. When I was passing by the hallways, I saw several people passing by and going to different rooms. They acknowledged me, greeted me, and smiled. I like that."

"We had to move my father to skilled nursing right now. He is at Heritage Park. I’ve been there twice at separate times and it’s been OK. They do a good job. It's very clean and well run. My dad complains a lot but nothing out of the normal. It’s a small community, probably 80's or 90's architecture. Staffing as far as my sister said, is better than the last place he’s been in. So there’s enough staff there since it’s a small place. They don’t have to run around as much for a lot of people. Their ratio of staff to patients is higher. It feels traditionally like a skilled nursing home, not too homey but its OK. Overall it’s a good facility. "

"Right now, my mom is at Inland Christian Home. The assisted living there is really expensive, and I don't think they take Medicare. But my mom's in the skilled nursing and she has medical, so they pay for that. They have group activities. The layout is like two person per room and it's clean. I went in the room a couple of times and it's very clean. They kept it clean, which is really nice, and the people are really friendly. Right now, because of the COVID thing, they are really careful. You have to have your vaccination, the booster, and the rapid test to see them, which I totally understand. I know they have bingo. It's also a Christian home so they do devotion and Bible study. They also have games, but I can't remember what kind of games. They have different games on different days. If they want to participate the patients can, but they don't have to. It is nice that they keep them busy. The staff are pretty helpful and friendly. The dining area is very clean. My mom is on a strict diet because she's diabetic. The food looks good, and she likes it. Because they're so strict on the policy, sometimes I get annoyed, but I can understand why. To me the assisted living is kind of expensive, but they have nurses 24/7, so I can understand that. But to me, it could be lower."

"I love this facility, ALL the staff is so loving and caring, it is a small facility so they are able to provide excellent one on one help. It is very clean also. I'm so glad my mom is there. "

"I was at Rancho Mesa Care Center. The physical therapy was good. I got a lot stronger and better. The food was not very good because I'm so picky. They kept giving me the kind of things that I don't like. Even though I told them over and over, they'd still give me what I didn't like. I was trying to get my appetite back, and so that wasn't helpful. The CNAs were very great. They worked very hard. They tried to get me a wheelchair, but my insurance wouldn't cover it. I was in one room with three other people, and they all spoke Spanish all the time. They were really loud and noisy. Then I was moved to another room, where it was just one other person. It was nice, quiet, and peaceful. I like that. They have rooms where it's two or three or four in a room. Because of COVID, we had to stay in our room. The activity would be coloring, or they let us go outside sometimes. That was nice because then you get exposed to the nice trees, birds, and the mountains."

"My mother is now in Country Villa Claremont Health. The place is nice and the staff there is very good. She tells them if she needs to be fed and they feed her, if she needs to be changed then they change her, and while I'm here everything is fine. My mom wouldn't eat food for a long time, but in this place, they cook homemade food or meals from scratch and she likes it. She's really happy and healthy here. They have speech therapy, physical therapy, OT, they have events, candle-lit dinners, and a lot of good things for the residents. They also have carnivals for the children. It's a very large community, it's clean, and the grass is cut, so it's nice. They have a little patio that the people can use, and we can have parties here."

"We’ve often heard how good the care is at Claremont Manor but they were always full. This past summer, when our mother again needed assistance, Claremont Manor had an opening and we jumped at the opportunity. Everything we had heard about Claremont Manor was true. It’s a very safe and welcoming environment. The management, staff and care team are accommodating, attentive, friendly, and helpful. The communication was informative and very thorough. The physical therapy team was helpful and patient. We are so thankful to have chosen Claremont Manor."

"Mt. San Antonio was very nice and we have a lot of friends who lived there. They have two-bedroom cottages, one bedroom type apartments and a lovely dining room. I’ve eaten lunch and the food was good. They have a library, crafts and gardening. I liked that once you’re in there they’ll assist you until you die. "
