I visited this facility

We chose Greenway Villas for Mom because of the layout of the facility, it is a multiplex that is all rent style one level, the cost is a little more reasonable, and the location. Once the unit is available and we are seriously interested, then we can go in person. Prior to that, it's just online pictures. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It's a 55+ community and they have activities, but they don't have any medical care available. They have morning coffee and they have a little coffee shop that they have set up in one of their units, so they can gather for visitation. They do outdoor picnics, and they have a gazebo area where they have outdoor activities when the weather permits. We were looking for a two-bedroom, two-bath unit. Their facility only has one bathroom, but it will work for us with our situation, and because of the cost difference, we chose to go that route. Other than that, I really liked that it's a well-maintained property. It's very inviting, more like a home instead of an apartment. They don't do food. One of the biggest things that attracted us was the ease of getting in and out. Parking is at your front door, there's a little patio area for her as well as a little fenced front porch, and it's all maintenance free exterior.

Greenway Villas, 55 plus senior community located in Raymore, Missouri, offers 51 maintenance-free retirement apartments. The quality units, built on concrete slabs, are wood frame with vinyl siding and pitched, composition shingle roofs. One-bedroom units have 1.5-ton heating and air conditioning units, and two-bedroom units have 2-ton units. Each unit has a 40-gallon water heater. Smoke detectors are located in each bedroom and hallway. Residents pay electricity and internet in the all-electric community, and owner pays water, sewer, and trash.

The one-bedroom units are 740 square feet, and two-bedroom / one-bath units are 900 square feet. Amenities include all one level units, handicap accessible, vinyl flooring, wide doors throughout, oversize closets, well-equipped kitchens, built-in microwaves*, washer and dryer connections, spacious front porch with railing and back patios, mail delivered to front door, curbside valet trash pick up, easy access to walk-in shower, residents park in front of there villa. Community amenities include on-site manager, a beautiful clubhouse, game room, gazebo with decorative waterfall pond and outdoor kitchen, and organized resident activities, lawn care and snow removal.
