"I had a family member at this facility and was impressed with the staff. My dad had been at another facility and they had no staff. Although this faciity was also short handed they tried so much harder to care for my dad."

"I visited there and too tell anyone the truth I would not even put my SICK dog in that place!! The CNA are lazy..and don't do a good job...They are on the cell phones..all the time 24/7..I even heard on person yelling for a Nurse because they un-pluged the call light!!! Its a shame that the elder people there gets No respect and they are treated like DIRT! I think people working there are for the MONEY!! and Do no work..So think long and hard before you put your love one in a place like that!! GOOD LUCK! "

"We have been very fortunate to find Seasons Care Center for my mom. We've been with them since a month and a half now. They took care of my mom during the day while we are at work and then we bring her home in the evenings. We are hoping to keep her with the family for as long as we can. .At this point, we are extremely satisfied with them. It took us a while to locate them because they are not very well advertised, but it got good excellent reviews online. The facility is recently remodeling. The staff are compassionate and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them highly because they've been very, very good with my mother. "

"My mother was a resident of Park Place Care Center for rehab prior to her death in 2006. I visited the facility prior to making the decision to move her there. We were moving her from an unacceptable nursing home and needed to find one which accepted her insurance. The staff was empathetic to me and the grounds were well maintained. The smell of cleaning products in the building was rather strong but at an acceptable level. All areas I encountered were very clean. After my mother was admitted, she shared a room with another patient. The rooms were adequate and not much was offered in regards to providing a sense of privacy from the roommate. The staff did offer social occasions for the residents to mingle, however, my mother never choose to participate. She did enjoy the dining area and made friends there. Overall, my mother did not seem to enjoy her time at this facility stating she felt the residents (patients) weren't treated with a proper amount of respect. I never personally witnessed any time where residents weren't treated properly but do take my mother at her word. Overall, Park Place Care Center is an adequate facility and I do not regret our choice. "

"The reason why I chose Autumn Terrace Health and Rehabilitation (Benchmark) for my mom is because they were able to work with me financially. Their staff is good and helpful. The nurses and doctors are on duty 24/7. The meals are OK. "

"We love Monterey Park Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. It's very nice and the grounds are pretty. The nurses are attentive and kind to my mom. It's clean and smells nice, which I think is important. The food is really good. My mom says the food is delicious and she's very picky. The portions are big and it comes hot too. I've tasted a couple of bites and it's good. Her room is clean and large. It has nice bay windows that look out onto the courtyard with flowers. So, it's pretty out there. They have a salon and other amenities as well."

"I'm in rehab right now at Ignite Medical Resort Blue Springs. The therapy is great, the meals are very good, the rooms are spacious, and the staff is good. They have bingo, dominoes, live music, and today is parlor day."

"I went to Life Care Center of Grandview. They had rehabilitation and skilled nursing. I thought they were very good. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and very informative. They had therapy and exercise. The room was average. "

"I was in the Villages for 2 weeks. I had very good treatment from the nurses and the aids. Therapy works you hard and does a great job. Thanks to the caring people there I am back on my feet after 6 week flat on my back in the hospital. "

"The Villages of Jackson Creek was closest to my mom, so she was pretty happy with the location of that. I don't have any complaints. It doesn't look like each room has central air. It looks kind of like wall units, and you know it gets really hot here in Missouri. The concern is, would the air have been enough? It was really nice there, though. They have the salon. They have the theater room. They have arts and crafts room. There is probably eight hours a day of activities. They transport to doctor's appointments."

"My mom is in Sunterra Springs Independence for rehab. It's very clean, I think the people are skilled, they are working with her this morning for rehab. I've been very impressed with the facility and the majority of the staff. I walked through the dining area, it's very nice. The room is fine, even though it's not a very old place, they just brought in all new furniture in the room which surprised me, but it looks good. The meals they brought looked fine."

"I pulled my mom from another care facility after only 24-hours because of lack of attention and not getting her medications (they put her med chart in someone else's file). Upon arrival at St. Mary's Manor, staff welcomed my mom and her intake was very efficient. The assigned nurse came in after the Intake Coordinator and did a very thorough review of her medications, expectations while she was at St. Mary's Manor, and spent time just chatting with my mom to make her feel more comfortable. Mom has enjoyed the physical and occupational therapy and she reports that all her meds have been given to her when they are due and all the nurses have treated her with respect. The facility is a little older but has recently has had a substantial renovation. The rooms are large and clean, and the dining facility is very nice as well. My mom has been very happy. I'd recommend St. Mary's Manor to anyone caring for an elderly family member or friend. "

"My father was at Ignite Medical Resort St. Mary's for 3 weeks. It was a facility that was in an old building that they had rehabilitated, and they have done the best they could with it. Everything was clean and neat, but it still looked like an old office building that had been renovated and had no personality. The staff was excellent. The room that he had was a typical hospital room. It was a square room with a window, a bathroom, and a TV. They had a big physical rehabilitation room with all kinds of rehabilitation equipment, and they also had a separate dining room."

"My sister has bipolar and have issues taking her medicine. So we decided to get her to Pathways Community Behavioral Health wherein she's working with a psychiatrist too for her behavior and memory care. We really want to have her in an assisted living but recently she decided to stay on the community for few more weeks. We are positively looking forward as well working for in-home care instead. But for now, we want to have someone who can look over her 24/7. The facility was doing great in taking good care of her. The people there were nice and very professional. The place is very nice. So far, she likes being there and I'm positive that everything will go smoothly for her in the next couple more weeks. "
